Opening Night After Party!

We’re hearing GREAT things about the production of Coppelia! We have fantastic tickets for tomorrow evening and just cannot wait! Intern Pain in the Ass is a biiiiig fan of Ballerina Katarina! But then… who isn’t??? We are so sad that we couldn’t make opening weekend for we hear that the after party Saturday night was fan-freaking-tastic! The Great Hall was actually decked out in a duplicate of the set which allowed party-goers to get an even closer look at the hard work that went into creating the town square.

Lil’ Boy Blue Locke once again had the honor of escorting Ballerina Katarina for the evening. It was a task that he seemed to take great pride in. She was spotted in a downright elegant gray gown. While we’re not entirely sold on these two as a couple, L.B.B. Locke has certainly upped B. Katarina’s fashion sense, no??? She’s starting to look like a grown-up! We do appreciate a man who can help turn a fierce girl into a potential fashion icon. These two just may have “power couple” stamped on their clasped hands!

It seems it was date night for Yummy Ewan and the DIVINE Mrs. Storm! The pair were in attendance and were wowed by the performers. We hear that they were quite taken with the ballet and were overheard discussing the story. So cute! We love watching their version of married bliss. These are one of those couples that should they ever split would take a big hit to our belief in the concept of marriage! We love to see that they’re still going strong and proud!

On the other hand, we were quite disappointed to see that Prof. Jolyon had brought Saucy Serena! When is he going to learn??? Heck, when are all the men of RhyDin going to learn to stay away from the bad girls??? They’re far more trouble than they are worth. We do hear that she behaved pretty well and never left his side. Still no word if they went as friends or if it was a “date”. We doubt that Prof. Jolyon would give us a straight answer even if we asked!

Hm… Mama Hen Sianna and Head of the House Johnny were seen arriving together but M.H. Sianna stayed and H.O.T.H. Johnny took off! M.H. Sianna spent some time talking to her friend Svelte Syvlia and checking out some of the May Day baskets. We’re dying to know where H.O.T.H. Johnny went, though! He’s starting to act a weeeee bit shady and we’re starting to wonder what he’s up to. He couldn’t possibly be cheating on the lovely M.H. Sianna…. right?

Svelte Sylvia isn’t one to show up the star of the party but she certainly was very much a hit! When is she not a hit in a social situation, though??? We’re desperate for someone to start teaching the women of RhyDin how to act like ladies and we couldn’t think of anybody better to do the job! Maybe we should re-christen her “The Queen of Class” because she truly is!

By all reports, a fabulous time was had by all! We already have our outfits picked out and are so incredibly thrilled that within twenty-four hours we too will have seen the ballet that EVERYBODY is talking about! You better catch it before it closes!
