Too Late Friday!

Lil’ Bit Lirssa was behind the bar of the Red Dragon Inn Friday night! That little girl works more than most adults we know! She was seen preparing drinks for Manly Mason and Doc Eva as they came in with the remnants of a snowball fight all over their coats. We’re quite sure that Doc Eva was the winner. That girl is FIERCE when you cross her! Speaking of FIERCE, Lil’ Bit Lirssa had a hand that was pretty busted and when the pair questioned her about it, Lil’ Bit Lirssa admitted that she had punched some stranger at the docks for getting grabby with one of her friends. Wow. Doc Eva declared it not broken but we have to admit that we are even more nervous about L.B. Lirssa’s well being now!

Things are proceeding right along with Marvelous Mira and Cowboy Jake. It seems that the pair had a lovely New Year together and spent the end of the evening with warm drinks at the Inn. We hear that Cowboy Jake even mentioned that maybe they could invite her family to spend the winter holidays with them next year at “our place”. WHAT?!?! Now we NOW Cowboy Jake is too traditional to be suggesting that they live together out of wedlock so it seems to us that he’s suggesting that they will be married within a year! HOW FANTASTIC!

Ballerina Katarina was seen catching up with Doc Eva later in the evening. It seems that she and Locke are still going strong. Ballerina Katarina was heard saying that he’s enjoying the snow. He must reeeeaaaally love her to stick it out through the long hot summers here in RhyDin. Either that or he loves fashion that much that he can’t stand leaving the fashion hub that is RhyDin. Maybe it’s a combination of the two.

Laaaaate into the night, our sources found two of the Inn’s resident Cheer Brigade all down in the dumps. Doc Eva, Manly Mason, and Chief Mischief Maker Eless were a bit baffled and concerned when both Serena and Mad Cow Kazzy entered in funks. There was no word about Serena’s but she certainly seemed out of it. M.C. Kazzy’s problems were more clear, though. It seems Lizzie has left town! What a bummer! We hear that M.C. Kazzy was drowning her sorrows with ice cream. Aw. We do hope that Lizzie returns soon. That’s so sad!

It seems that Guill might be rethinking his actions! We hear that he was seen down in the Annex apologizing for the things he has said. Wow! We didn’t think he would budge off his stance but it seems that the criticism from his friends is weighing heavily on him. Aja wasn’t immediately forgiving. We hear that she made it pretty darn clear that she thinks he’s been acting like an ass. We doubt Aja wouldn’t be as angry as she is if it her brother hadn’t been one of the ones that made Guill’s list of dishonorable people. Aja is the biggest defender of the legendary status of her brother’s dueling career. He’s going to have to work hard to win her over.

This should be illegal. Really. We hear that Crazy Train Tara and G’naughty G’nort were seen spending time in the Annex together Friday night, causing trouble. In fact, C.T. Tara even caused a serving boy to faint at one point. We’re highly uncomfortable with this pair being allowed within a hundred yards of one another much less planning and going on adventure together. The city may implode from their combined trouble making potential. Nobody’s going to believe us until it’s too late!

Fit Mama Thursday!

Wow! The Many Faces of Fio doesn’t seem to be having an easy time of things the last couple of weeks. She was seen Thursday night in the Red Dragon Inn talking with a friend and was overheard telling the woman she was speaking with that Lucky Lawyer Lucien didn’t believe that she and Awful Ali were capable of raising Lil’ Bit Lirssa. We hear that T.M.F.O. Fio was VERY broken up about it. At the same time, Awful Ali and L.L. Lucien were spotted having some sort of private and very serious looking conversation on the porch.

T.M.F.O. Fio did run into Lil’ Bit Lirssa a bit later while she was picking out a bottle of alcohol to take to Head of the Fam Johnny’s yearly shindig. T.M.F.O. Fio didn’t seem all that comfortable with Lil’ Bit Lirssa running around at all hours of the night but didn’t really put her foot down either. We think that the pair of them may have already lost control of the girl. Too bad. She really needs a strong hand!

Thorne and Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan are awfully close, aren’t they? Typically we write this off because she’s overly friendly with most everybody and he’s…. well, furry. That doesn’t exactly seem to be her type. Yet, the pair were again seen Thursday night where she was sitting in his lap. We know, we know. He says he sees her as a sister. But we’ve never met somebody who spends so much quality time with their “sister”, particularly a “sister” who is so affectionate. We’re not buying some sort of sibling relationship here. At least one of them has the hots for the other.

To The Court Wednesday!

Lil’ Bit Lirssa spent some time tending the bar at the Red Dragon Inn Wednesday night. She certainly seems to be doing that a lot lately, doesn’t she??? The Many Faces of Fio asked her about her plans for her tips and she mentioned that she was going to use them towards her debt with Awful Ali. Really? L.B. Lirssa is paying Awful Ali for a debt that T.M.F.O. Fio doesn’t know about??? We’re telling you. It sure seems like there’s trouble in paradise! Those two don’t seem to be on the same page AT ALL anymore! We can’t have the first couple we’ve ever married go breaking up! It can’t happen!

The Dread Kidd Pirate Stephen was in the Inn telling (not asking) Crazy Train Tara that she was paying for his guide to the “seelie court” which we understand is a collection of faeries. C.T. Tara had quite a few questions about why he wanted her money to get a guide to this court but T.D.K.P. Stephen would not give her any answers. C.T. Tara wouldn’t give him the money without getting to go along which was a demand that Stephen eventually gave into.  He also spoke with Brale Brother Reap who advised him that he could get Stephen in touch with Spade who might be able to guide him to the seelie court. We have to wonder if this has something to do with Jewell. The timing certainly is suspicious! Maybe he is pretty torn up about her loss after all.

Cowboy Jake and the Marvelous Mira spent a bit of time together, having drinks and chatting. We’re still surprised that he’s being so patient and hasn’t asked her to marry him. That proposal can’t be too far away, right? They were making plans for New Years and he’s definitely smitten with her. We’re not sure if she’s just keeping her feelings close to the vest or if her last relationship has left her a bit burned but we’re still not totally sure if she’s as into him as he’s into her. We have no idea why! He’s absolutely PERFECT for her!

While Harris is awfully good at picking out the new HAWT talent in the Inn, his friends Smokin’ Sartan and Speedster Nova have the market cornered in the dueling venues, particularly the Outback. They jump on new girls faster than you can snap your fingers! Smokin’ Sartan spent a good portion of Wednesday night trying to hook up Speedster Nova with a tall blonde named Penelope. We’re just not so sure how into him the chick was. She’s definitely a hottie, though. Perhaps a wee biiiit out of Speedster Nova’s league.

The first of the round of Opal challenges went down Wednesday night in the Outback as FLAWLESS Koy, the holder of the black opal, faced off against G’naughty G’nort. This was another challenge in which there didn’t seem to be any bad blood but FLAWLESS Koy did seem to question whether or not G’naughty G’nort understood what he was getting himself into with the black opal. The pair faced off in some of the Outback’s infamous rings as Lil’ Black Book Jaycy officiated. G’naughty G’nort took the first match but FLAWLESS Koy took the next two and, therefore, defended her title.

Overlord Tical was awfully busy! He was seen in conferences with two baronesses — a renegade and his newest loyal. He had a short conversation with Lil’ Black Book Jaycy but our sources could not determine what it was about. L.B.B. Jaycy has always been vocal that her loyalty only goes to her closest friends but seems to support Tical’s reign despite her alignment. Our sources tell us that Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan’s conversation with him had more to do with the events of the previous night. It seems that they discussed her loyalty and S.P.G. Teagan seemed confident in her decision.

Our Darling Taneth was acting odd again Wednesday night. We hear that she was back in the Outback trying to get the titleholders to let her give them assistance. Overlord Tical quickly pushed her off on Baroness Teagan who wasn’t able to get rid of O.D. Taneth so quickly. There is something really unsettling about this behavior. It’s definitely making the titleholders uncomfortable. It’s also a bit dangerous. Not all the titleholders are good people. Very very sad.

Eye On The Opals Tuesday!

Brale Brother Reap was seen at the bar of the Red Dragon Inn on Tuesday night giving Quinn a shoulder to cry on and supplying her with alcohol. It seems that Quinn was all upset because her boy, Dean, had taken off. There should be some sort of rule that B.B. Reap isn’t allowed around alcohol and other people’s girlfriends. Unfortunately for B.B. Reap barely before he was able to start putting his moves on Quinn, Dean was tossed out of the Nexus and into the Inn. The pair had a sappy reunion over beer. Blah.

B.B. Reap wasn’t left without entertainment for too long because our Eve walked through the door. That’s right! You read it right! Eve! She was her typical ridiculous self too! We hear that she was trying to get Nigel to kiss her hand… because he’s British and that’s what British people do. Don’t blame us for the crazy reasoning. We don’t make this stuff up, we just report it! Based on her remarks, it seems that she is NOT looking for a new man. Evidently, she was overheard talking about Brale Brother Baker and it seems that the pair’s relationship remains cemented in alcohol and off color jokes!

A sizable crowd gathered in the Arena to watch as the Warlord Teagan pressed her right to challenge against the Baron of Dragon’s Gate, Cassius! Although Cassius had been pretty harsh with the warlord since the challenge was issued there didn’t seem to be any bad blood between them. It seems most wrote the comments Cassius made as just him being his typical grumpy self. In fact, Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan even said in her challenge that she had chosen Cassius because he would be the most difficult “challenge”.

The talk of the night wasn’t Arena politics, though, but the Outback’s opals! With the rash of opal challenges (on the date in question all the opals were under challenge) interest in the infamous objects has been raised yet again. They do seem to have some odd impacts on their holders — some opals more than others and some holders more than others. Some of the Outbacks regulars are a little nervous that the challengers don’t know what they’re getting into. FLAWLESS Koy was overheard explaining the situation, at least the best its understood, with Deliciously Sinful Sin and questioning Old Man Tass about his interest in them.

They weren’t the only ones deep in discussion about them, though. Speedster Nova, who’s ex-wife/baby mama went bonkers thanks to an opal, has been trying to convince Smokin’ Sartan not to go after one for quite a while. So far he’s convinced Smokin’ Sartan to put it off. Sartan is not one of the most recent challenges but has continued to discuss the possibility.

The Baron Cassius chose a single match format match after declaring his loyalty to the current Overlord, Tical. However, Tical did not intercede nor did Cassius ask him to do so. The match remained neck in neck until the end when S.P.G. Teagan pulled away for the win. Cassius took the loss on the chin and didn’t seem too terribly upset. In fact, he was overheard saying that if he hadn’t have lost this barony he would have no way of attempting to tie Cletus Ganderfald’s record of most baronies held. In fact, it was Teagan who actually seemed irritated at the end of the match when there was some issues about her loyalty. The Overlord, Tical, advised her that he did not care if she went renegade or loyal and it seemed as if Teagan would go renegade until her friend, Maria, asked her to go loyal. Teagan go loyal did but it led to what appeared to be a not so friendly conversation between the two Crew members, Tical and Maria. We’re not really sure what loyalty means to S.P.G. Teagan anyway since she’s not even exactly loyal to the people she’s sleeping with. Guess we’ll see!

Engagement Monday!

Our sources can’t tell us exactly how it went down Monday night in the Red Dragon Inn but all we know is that Rekah and Harris were seen chasing each other around the Inn. There are even reports that she beat up the legendary Outback star. Wow. That’s not good for his rep! We hear that Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan looked on with no small amount of amusement and the craziness didn’t end until Mega Mom Icer actually SAT on Harris. That’s an experience that we’d certainly like to avoid!

Remember how we said that Harris seems to have a unique talent for hanging out with some of the hottest young women in the Inn??? Well, Monday was no exception! He and S.P.G. Teagan were seen spending time with a young lady named Sarah. We don’t know a whole lot about her yet but she is quite the pretty little brunette and has been spending a lot of time in the dueling venues as of late.

See! This is exactly what we’re worried about. We hear that Awful Ali paid little attention to his wife, The Many Faces of Fio, as they spent time in the Inn. Instead, he only seemed to have eyes for Eleanor! What in the world is going on??? The pair were seen having a very serious looking discussion while T.M.F.O. Fio had a cup of tea not too far away. Would Awful Ali really cheat on his wife??? We know that Eleanor isn’t a big monogamy fan but would she go so far as to sleep with another woman’s man??? Is Awful Ali finally tired of having to be responsible for all the women in his life and wants a woman who can take care of herself???

For some reason that nobody can quite explain to us Manly Mason was seen entering the Inn wearing some sort of hat with a feather in it, lederhosen, leather shorts, and suspenders. Yeah, no joke. We hear that Lucky Lawyer Lucien and Awful Ali were stunned speechless! Manly Mason came bearing good news! We’re not sure if we’ve ever seen Doc Eva as happy as when Manly Mason told her that he was offered a job with a local caterer. Congratulations, Manly Mason!

They didn’t have long to celebrate the news because Crazy Train Tara came zipping in on a scooter and Manly Mason had to pull both Doc Eva and Chief Mischief Maker Eless out of the way so they didn’t get run over by the out of control scooter! We have no idea who gave it to her but somebody showed VERY poor judgment because she didn’t even seem to know where the brakes were! L.L. Lucien got her to jump off the scooter into his arms just before it crashed into the bar. The scooter was toast but C.T. Tara seemed perfectly fine…. as always. Poor L.L. Lucien!

Things weren’t any less chaotic in the Outback Monday night! We hear that S.P.G. Teagan punched Speedster Nova in the…. well, special private man area! FOUL, M’LADY, FOUL! While Speedster Nova tried not to cry, Smokin’ Sartan tried not to laugh at his friend and his wife, Rory, tried to convince Speedster Nova that he should take S.P.G. Teagan out on a date since she was now well acquainted with his boys. S.P.G. Teagan evidently thought a dinner date was a fine way to settle their difference. OMG. We don’t even know where to start!

Deliciously Sinful Sin was overheard giving Dris a hard time about his engagement! It wasn’t officially announced until several days later but D.S. Sin has the second best sources in town! Second only to our sources, of course! The official announcement was sent to the Den of Gossip and we are pleased to have the opportunity to post it –

“Sheridan “Dris” Driscol, renowned luthier, musician and dueling sports official, announces his engagement to Icarus Abraxas Dahaki-Marcotte, heir of House Kalseru. Mr. Driscol is the son of Weylin and Lavena Driscol of Canterbury, England circa 1900s Earth, both deceased, and Mr. Marcotte is the son of Samuel Marcotte (deceased) and the honorable Lady Azhi Dahaki, both from the Kingdom of Tarn. The date for this wedding has yet to be decided.”

Called us a bunch of sappy romantics but we’re tickled pink when people who say they will NEVER marry find love and can’t resist declaring their commitment to share their life together before their friends and family! We’re so pleased for the pair of them! Congratulations!

What is up with Lil’ Black Book Jaycy??? She’s changing before our eyes and we’re not liking it ONE FREAKING BIT!!! We love the old Jaycy. You know, the bed-hopping, commitment-phone, marriage vow breaking heart-breaker! Not only is she turning into a one man woman — she again only had eyes for Psly Monday night — but she’s physically changing! We hear that she was seen with scales… and wings! What in the world is going on with her??? We don’t like when being with a man starts to change a woman, especially such a woman that usually gives us such great gossip fodder. WE DISAPPROVE!
