The Talon of Redwin Tournament, in honor of the GREAT former Overlord Siera Redwin, is the perfect time to witness some of the Arena’s hottest new talent go head-to-head! To make it even better the tournament is sponsored by Red Orc Brewery which makes Badsider Brew! The Arena’s hottest young talent dueling their hearts out + the title holders watching for their new competition + Badsiders flowing freely = an excellent night of drama!

We find it slightly amusing that while Crazy Train Tara was upstairs getting married, Anubis was down in the Annex watching the tournament! It’s all the more amusing because Anubis constantly degrades the tournament! Perhaps he should have skipped it if he finds it so horribly boring and paid a little closer attention to C.T. Tara…. or perhaps he isn’t that into C.T. Tara. Anubis is supposedly married, after all! We have a feeling there’s a lot more drama buried in this.

Venom Vinny was really unhappy during his match against The Gov MAN-tastic Matt! Evidently, while ahead by several points, the Pathfinder opal assisted Matt in avoiding Venom Vinny’s attack. Venom Vinny rightly said that if he wasn’t allowed to us his magic in the swords’ rings then Matt should not be allowed to use Pathfinder. MAN-tastic Matt said that he had no control over the opal and Venom Vinny scoffed at his inability to control Pathfinder. MAJOR! We hate to agree with Venom Vinny but…. he’s RIGHT! We don’t know what’s scarier that The Gov MAN-tastic Matt is using Pathfinder so blantantly in a ring or that he claims to have no control over the opal!

Luscious Lydia was raring to go for this tournament! She definitely seems to have taken a liking to the dueling rings. It’s hard to imagine that she’s come to enjoy such a violent sport! She made it past the first several rounds but in the end didn’t have what it took to bring down The Gov MAN-tastic Matt either. Things got REALLY odd after the match! MAN-tastic Matt was overheard telling Luscious Lydia to stay away from his wife!!! OMG!!! Luscious Lydia was definitely confused as to what she might have done to DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy. So are we! Insane!

MAN-tastic Matt’s anger seemed to be just what he needed to clench victory! Without much trouble at all, he sailed through the competition to claim the title of this cycle’s Talon of Redwin!

In honor of the founder of the Duel of Fists, Head Pussy Panther, a cyclical tournament is held within the Outback to celebrate the rising talent among the brawlers!!! Everyone ranked beneath Emerald is given the opportunity to participate and, without fail, the event is a fantastic night of hard-hitting action! The Outback’s brightest young stars were out to throw their dukes up against one another with SUUUUPER Des overseeing the whole thing!

The night started out a bit on the crazy side! Luscious Lydia waltzed on in clad in a cheerleading outfit complete with purple pom poms! Oh, be still our heart! That is the start of quite a few men’s fantasies and, by the look on his face, Cute Single Dad Bane might be one of those men! It’s nice to see that Luscious Lydia knows how to keep her man satisfied.

We hear Lil’ Boy Blue Locke was quite confused to be face-to-face with RAT-tastic Napoleon for the very first time! What never seen a talking, dueling, candy-fiend rodent before, Locke??? Yes, he is REALLY a rat! And, yes, he REALLY is a pirate…. at least he claims he is!

Space Girl Alyson and Space Boy Chase (the male one, not the PAARTY version) were seen quite close between rounds as they competed! It seems that the pair are definitely keeping their relationship hush-hush but you can’t deny the chemistry there! We love to spot them sneaking little talks between matches. Absolutely adorable!

With Napoleon cheering on his former Badside Brawlers teammate, it was Kaylin who emerged victorious and won the Claw for the cycle! Congratulations, Kaylin!

A collection of some of the Outback hardest hitting duelists gathered this past Sunday night in the Outback to duke it out to see who would replace SMOKIN’ Sartan as the Outback’s biggest ego– er, we mean, as The Diamond! With DoD-er Rena and Rat-tastic Napoleon calling, six top ranking brawlers showed to see which man would reign supreme, including SMOKIN’ Sartan who was there to defend his title as well as many-time winner The Gov MAN-tastic Matt!

SMOKIN’ Sartan made a crack about being “sneaky” and his opponent at the time, Venom Vinny, immediately questioned to see if his wife “knew about that problem”. SMOKIN’ Sartan was more than a little confused. It seems that he doesn’t know Venom Vinny that well! You’ve got to love Venom Vinny! Even after the jig is up and his wife has left for more loyal pastures, he’s still trying to get tips on how to refine his technique for next time! We sure hope there’s a next time very soon. This guy’s just too good for our blog for words!!!

The lovely Taneth was present cheering for… well, pretty much everyone as usual! In fact, we believe she may have even cheered for the caller, RAT-tastic Napoleon on one or two occasions! She was looking lovely as always, of course! We’re definitely looking forward to that hug we’re hoping to get from her in the marketplace on Saturday!

Interestingly enough, DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy was in fact present and looking stunning as usual but was surprisingly sitting on the sidelines! The self-proclaimed Lady of the Outback actually sat this DQ out! She was seen sitting at a table and quietly talking with SMOKIN’ Sartan’s wife, Rory, who is getting pleasantly plump and pregnant. The pair seemed quite involved in their own conversation. We wonder what THAT was about!

In the end of the round robin tournament, three participants emerged with tied records, including SMOKIN’ Sartan! Despite a pretty impressive effort to repeat, he failed and it was FILF Kheldar who emerged from the crowd to collect yet ANOTHER Diamond!

Can you believe it??? Season 525 has already come to an end! After all the hype, it was actually the rookie team King’s Gambit and Team Twilight that emerged from the pack to battle it out for the Mackenzie Cup! And, man, was it a nail biter! A winner wasn’t decided until the very last round!

We hear that fans were awfully excited to see former Overlord Roland back in action for King’s Gambit! He hasn’t been seen around the Arena since losing his title and we hear he’s been kept quite busy with TDL and his family. Unfortunately, Roland’s rust was a bit apparent and he dropped the first one to Team Twilight. His loss was quickly followed by another by KGM which put them down in an early hole to Team Twilight!

Venom Vinny has seemed to be keeping his chin up since his marriage crumbled over the past month. However, he has been keeping a low profile. Attention all you single ladies out there: Venom Vinny had NO woman at his side Thursday night. We seriously doubt he’ll stay on the market very long so if you think you can keep his constant flirting in line, go wrangle him in! Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to pull through in the third match of the night but battled it out fiercely, even taking the duel into overtime! His teammate didn’t put up quite the spectacular fight in the fourth duel and after winning the first two, Team Twilight found themselves clinging to a meager 27 to 26 lead.

KGM put their hopes of a win in the VERY capable hands of the Allstar Kelten! Although, it was a closely fought match, he certainly did not disappoint! With a final lunge, he sealed the deal with a5-4 win! Can you say “nail-biter”???

A talented pool of warlords that included many former barons and several former overlords gathered to fight it out in the Winter cycle Warlord Tournament! There were no rings up for grabs but the prizes for the night were an intercession-free shot at the Overlord and a challenge shot at one of the barons!

The surprise of the night to those gathered to participate and those present to witness the event was that former Overlord Xeno was among those vying for a prize!!! He gained quite a few second glances from some of the less experienced warlords. You could tell that there was one or two a bit intimidated to have such a legend in their midst!!! Who can blame them?!?!

Baroness of Dockside/Little Black Book Jaycy was present and she certainly wasn’t doing anything to stop those rumors that she and former flame Sartan have heated up an old romance. She was overheard greeting him warmly and calling him “hon”. How cute… or else it would be if he wasn’t MARRIED!!! Is it just us or did Jaycy get quite the evil eye from Sartan’s pregnant wife, Rory, when she entered with SPEEDSTER Nova later in the night. We’re totally smelling major drama brewing there.

Jaycy was seen later chatting with Cas about many issues, including The Diamond himself. Our sources say that she was seen holding her belly and was sporting just a bit of a pouch!!! When Cas questioned her on whether or not she’d be entering an upcoming tournament, she seemed uncomfortable and avoided responding directly. OMG!!! Could she be knocked up to??? If Sartan’s knocked up both his wife and a mistress at the same time, we’ll so have to rename him Super Sperm Sartan!!! That would be totally MAJOR!

Hawtie Hodge seemed to be keeping a close eye on rising star Joex as he competed throughout the night!!! We always thought that it would be Rix whose attention span would end this relationship but maybe it’s Hodge’s eyes that are starting to wander. They certainly picked an interesting place to wander to!!!

In the end Aurora walked away with the win and took the Overlord challenge as her prize while the FIERCE Aya took the Baron’s challenge. We love when the ladies dominate. HAWT!!!

The 52nd Diamond Quest occurred in the Outback Sunday night with a gathering of some of Duel of Fists’ biggest and brightest stars competing for the illusive ranking of Diamond! These events always involved rowdy crowds, lots of alcohol, and the participants barely crawling away in the end! They’re certainly something to behold!!!

To make the evening even more difficult for those participating (as if that was necessary), the tournament was held with six round robin rounds and then the four with the best record proceeded on into a single elimination style. The level of violence and carnage would have made even SUUUUPER Des smile with glee!!!

The evening started out with some verbal jabs between Cas and Art over what Art took as a slam against the other competitors! According to our sources, Cas was quipping about the length of his challenge with Matt and stating how he could more than likely win the entire tournament in less time than that marathon challenge. While we don’t believe it was a slam, it was the typical sort of arrogance that always gets Cas into trouble!!! Somebody should really muzzle him before he goes out into public!

…And little did Cas know just how long it would take to find a winner out of this batch! Poor DoD-er Rena was on duty for the entire five and a half hour tournament! Thankfully for DoD-er Rena’s poor eyes, Big Britches Erin came in to assist as well!

At first it seemed that Smokin’ Sartan seemed to have the most vocal fanbase which consisted of his good friend Nova and his mistress/his friend’s girlfriend Hodge.  However, it quickly became apparent that Speedster Nova was rooting for whomever was winning as he was also heard cheering for DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy and MAN-tastic Matt! At least Speedster Nova keeps things entertaining!

We hear that Big Britches Erin was asking people to remove our cute little head!!! A threat against our life!!! We’re appalled!!! We promote peace and good will and are so above violent means to solve problems. It’s a sad, sad day when a pink-haired man can’t blog without death threats! Have no fear, our loyal readers! We shall not be dissuaded by such heartless acts. We will continue bringing you the TRUTH without fail!

It seems that Art wasn’t the only one that Cas offended through the night. He was also heard exchanging words with another participant, Ria Graziano. Evidently, Ria didn’t take too kindly to some remark that Cas made to make fun of one of his opponents! Ria called him out on his arrogance but Cas said it wasn’t arrogance, he was just “belittling” his opponent. Classy! Waaaay classy! Cas also chose that moment to make a crass comment about a lecture on arrogance coming from a member of the Wrecking Crew. Wow, he certainly knows how to make friends!

Speaking of arrogance, Blue-Haired Bimbo Harris was there to fight and we really wonder how anyone else managed to breathe for all the space his ego takes up! He was overheard telling Bran that he is nothing until he wins and when Bran told him not to get his shorts in a bunch, Harris said that they weren’t because he knew he was better than Bran. Such love!

Are we the only ones that find it horribly disturbing to see MAN-tastic Matt beating on DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy in a ring??? There love sometimes looks like some sort of sick. The pair were slated to duel one another in the round robin portion of the tournament and they certainly didn’t hold back. In the end, it was FLAWLESS Koy who emerged victorious but both seemed pretty beaten up.

After four and a half long hours, four combatants emerged to duke it out in single elimination — Smokin’ Sartan, DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy, MAN-tastic Matt, and Bran! It took another brutal hour but in the end it was Sartan who walked away with the title in his very first Diamond Quest!!!

CHARITY Jewell must have a thing for Grazianos! She was seen chatting up a former winner of the Panther’s Claw title, Miriya Graziano, before the tournament began. The two women share a common interest — racing. Mir is a crew chief for a race team while Jewell’s restaurants sponsors one of her teammate’s no-grav vehicle! We didn’t know this racing stuff was becoming such a big deal. We may have to check it out.

RAT-tastic Napoleon was seen hanging out with SMOKIN’ Sartan and SPEEDY Nova between rounds. The two over grown boys and their over grown rat friend ate cookies while Napoleon sadly recalled the day that someone unknowingly gave him gum! Evidently his fur had bald patches for quite a while after that. Poor Nappy!

…Speaking of SPEEDY Nova, we hear that he was cheering for Luscious Lydia Monday night!!! We’re telling you! There’s something behind this flirtation between the quick-witted neutralizer and the green-haired seamstress! Lydia put up quite the showing, making it several rounds into the tournament before losing to the more experienced RAT-tastic Napoleon!

Blue-Haired Bimbo Harris lectured blue-haired CHARITY Jewell about her masochistic streak! She certainly has seemed on the beaten and bloody side. We’re starting to wonder if there’s something more to it. BHB Harris seems to be wondering the same thing! He seemed a bit worried as he tried to convince Jewell to let him train her so that she doesn’t walk out of a ring limping. Jewell replied that sometimes she goes into a ring TO BE A PUNCHING BAG!!! Red flag, anyone?!?! That girl needs help FAST before she turns into DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy.

Miriya was seen hugging her brother Tony and complaining about not having seen him in forever. Both seemed to be accusing the other of not keeping in touch. There’s been hints of Graziano tension over the past month. We wonder if this is just another sign!!! It’s about that time in the TDL season for some Graziano drama!

We hear that Michelle was on hand to watch Gabe duke it out but Gabe left without saying a word to her!!! That poor girl should just cut her losses and move on already. She seems like such a sweetheart!

By the end of the loooong night of dueling, SUUUUPER Des announced that RAT-tastic Napoleon was the winner! He was quite excited about his loot and headed off with his treats to show off the Claw to his pirate friends.

Now typically the honor of choosing who will receive the Overlord Grant is left entirely up to the current Overlord. Making the decision himself just didn’t seem to hold enough drama for Overlord Roland! Instead, he decided to choose a champion and allow each of the barons to choose a champion in order to fight it out for the Grant!

The Overlord’s Champion is also the current holder of the Talon of Redwin, Pirate Girl Teagan. She wasn’t the only hottie given a spot in! The Baroness of Battlefield Park Maria asked for resumes and a series of odd questions in order to determine who would win her entry ticket. CHARITY Jewell won Maria’s heart for having similar interests as Maria — themselves. The Baroness of Dockside Little Black Book Jaycy opened up her book to the “M” page and found MAN-tastic Matt!!! Wouldn’t you be a bit concerned if you were DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy?!?! What sexual favors did Matt have to give up to be the champion of Dockside???

Speaking of sexual favors, G’naughty G’nort, the Baron of the Old Market District, named his rumored mistress Big Britches Erin as his champion. As we first reported, Cas didn’t waste any time nailing down the Baron of the Old Temple Horatio to name him the Old Temple champion. The Baron of Seaside Damien was a bit closer to the vest about his choice. However, few were surprised to hear that his nominee was his old friend/former Overlord Cletus. We would have bet money that the Baron of New Haven Randy Rand would have been suckered by some HAWT female type for his ticket but instead he choose the owner of Red Orc Brewery (the maker of everyone’s beloved Badsider Brew) Jake Thrash. Finally, the newest baron Xavior of Dragon’s Gate choose DoD-er Rena to represent his district.

The champions gathered as did quite the crowd to watch the event! Overlord Roland as well as many of the barons stepped out of the districts to witness the tournament! To make the night even crazier, the calling duties of the fantastic P-Imp were arranged for the evening!

It must be nice to be the owner of Red Orc Brewery. Not only must Jake be an absolute millionaire considering the insane success of Badsider Brew but HAWT models show up to cheer him on!!! DoD-er/Badsider Brew spokesbabe PJ showed up in her usual style (meaning half-dressed) and rooted her employer on. What a lucky duck he is!

Overlord Roland acquired a new loyal baron in such an odd manner that it even seemed to surprise him! After tossing a candy bar to Maria and discussing how much his daughter was a fan of her and Jaycy, Maria was overheard stating that she would be changing her alignment to loyal. Maria’s behavior didn’t get much more understandable as she then carried on a conversation with CHARITY Jewell that our sources tell us was impossible to follow! We think those two women are just totally on the same wavelength — crazy!

Hodge was seen jawing with The Gov Kitty as they watched Smokin’ Sartan! We hear “watched” is a bit of an understatement and that what Hodge was doing was quite close to staring!!! Could the dark-haired beauty Hodge have a thing for the married man?!?! Oooh, we love when the gossip gets dirty!!!

It seems that Little Black Book Jaycy just caaaan’t go a night in public without finding some man to flirt with! Sunday night’s target??? Her fellow baron and fellow horny toad, Randy Rand!!! They were seen making quite the scene flirting back and forth. We’re dying to know if Jaycy’s panties ended up on the floor of the New Haven Barony!

It was the Overlord’s own champion, Pirate Girl Teagan, that emerged victorious from the tournament! Overlord Roland seemed quite pleased to hand the grant to her. No word yet as to who she will challenge.

Team Dueling League’s best of the best faced off as the Amethyst Division all-stars took on the Sapphire Division all-stars! The winning division earned home field advantage (the right to make their opponent throw out the first match-up) in the TDL Finals at the end of the year!

Among calls that they are the weaker division despite having the number one team in the league in their midst, the Amethyst All-star team was looking to come to the match hard. They were captained by WRC’s Tony Graziano who was assisted by DTM’s Big Britches Erin. For their captain selections, Tony picked his sister-in-law Ria while Erin choose DTM’s rising star Joex. KGM’s Roland, DTM’s Erin, WRC’s Maria, WRC’s Chris, and WRC’s Bode were all voted onto the team. WRC’s Tony, DTM’s Teagan, ATR’s Topaz, KGM’s Kelten, and MRC’s Kyra also earned seats on the team for having the highest MPDPD’s for their respective teams of the remaining duelists.

The Sapphire Division also fielded strong talent with PWF’s Jack captaining and CDR’s G’naughty G’nort as his assistant. PWF’s Jack used his captain selection for PWF’s Boof while CDR’s G’anughty G’nort used his on CDR’s DoD-er Charlie. TMF’s Sartan, PWF’s Tex, CDR’s Grayson, TTW’s Esper, and CDR’s Tareth were all voted onto the team. While CDR’s Daryl, PWF’s Herbert, TMF’s Little Black Book Jaycy, COM’s Lionhood Rakeesh, and TTW’s Anushka earned seats on the team for having the highest MPDPD’s for their respective teams of the remaining duelists.

Congratulations to all the All-stars for making the team!

However, the real prize is taking home field advantage back for your division! Amethyst scored an early win in their bucket as Overlord Roland took down his good friend Smokin’ Sartan but Kelten was no match for Rakeesh’s super lionhood! With things all even, Big Britches Erin choose to face off against DoD-er Charlie. While the pair have been close friends in the past, things were not hunk dory Thursday night. Although much of their conversation was lost among the din of the crowd, the ladies had words through out the fifteen rounds of the match. Charlie finally gained the win to put another nail in Amethyst’s coffin.

Charlie wasn’t the only DoD-er present! Badsider Brew spokesbabe DoD-er PJ also came out of hiding (under whatever rock she passed out under last) to flirt with whatever hunk of man meat was looking her way! After Amethyst snagged a win with Joex defeating Tex, DoD-er PJ went into action to care for the hunky cowboy. Let’s just say that there were no complaints on Tex’s end!!!

Speaking of hunky, Esper had way too much to be stopped by Ria which evened things up again. Yet, Tareth took a solid victory over Pirate Babe/Talon of Redwin Teagan to push things back in Sapphire’s favor!!! Tareth didn’t linger long in the ring. He and DoD-er Charlie were practically inseperable the entire night! It seems that things are still going HAWT and HEAVY there!!!

After some choice remarks that Smokin’ Sartan made bout Chris Graziano’s sister and wife, Chris was quite thrown off his game. He dropped the last duel to Boof which secured Sapphire’s easy victory over Amethyst. We, however, wouldn’t be too smug if we were Sartan. Chris doesn’t seem to be the type of person that lets things go that easy!!! With both of their respective teams fighting for a place in the TDL Finals, this grudge might not die here!!! Chris was consoled by his BFF RAT-tastic Napoleon… and who wouldn’t just love to be hugged on by an oversized, candy-eating rat?

The start of the New Year brought about the Archmage Tournament on the shores of Twilight Island Monday night. RhyDin’s best mages passed through that odd door in the Red Dragon Inn beneath the stairwell and past the glowing portal to gather to duke it out for the right to challenge the legendary Archmage Will Wulfson! Magic was abound and the competition was fierce!

Soerl was briefly spotted on Twilight Island but left as quickly as he showed up. Is it just us or has he seemed sullen since his wife came back into town??? She’s a hottie but perhaps he really had a thing for Van! Soerl and Aylysia haven’t been seen together yet. However, they’ve each been spotted several times separately. We’re DESPERATE for more information about this situation!!!

Chryrie was spotted watching the tournament and seemed to be in a particularly cheerful mood! She even gave poor Venom Vinny a bit of love and congratulations as he continued to advance through the rounds. Venom Vinny’s sharp tongue seems to get him in a good bit of trouble so we’re sure he was thankful for the rare opportunity of having someone cheer him on.

Chryrie’s future brother-in-law was also part of the field. Tass showed up to prove that The Gov Kitty isn’t the only hard hitting member of this duo! Tass put on quite a show but in the end it was Topaz and Venom Vinny who emerged as the final two. DoD-er Rena called the match as Topaz built up a solid lead but Venom Vinny didn’t take it lying down. He took the win in eleven rounds and will move on to face Archmage Will Wulfson.

Congratulations to Venom Vinny! If you’re looking to watch some magical fireworks between two great duelists, the match between Archmage Will Wulfson and Mage Emeritus Vinny Smith will take place tonight (Tuesday) at 9:00 pm by the RhyDinian clock on Twilight Island!
