Kalinda was on hand to watch the event but this was the first time she was not eligible to enter herself as she has just recently rose to Warlord status. That didn’t keep her from being an active participant, though. With rumors abound that she has her eye on Roderick, she announced herself as the prize of the first round match-up between Roderick and Porthos. Roderick won that one amidst quite a few comments from Kalinda about how good his legs looked in the kilt he was wearing.

Rhaine was in the competition and rather confused as to why some in the crowd were a little afraid of her. After all, she claims that she’s harmless despite enjoying a bloody snack and having fangs. You know what we’ve learned? Don’t trust anything that may see you as a snack. And if they ask you to climb into their oven to clean the spot in the very back??? DON’T DO IT!!! She does have a big fan in Napoleon who was overheard saying that Rhaine always makes him great ice cream sundaes. Eh, we’re still not so sure! Maybe rat blood just isn’t very tasty!

We’re a little torn about children in dueling venues around all the blood, foul language, and violence but Rhiannon’s daughter sure is adorable! We hear that Rhiannon was there with her preschooler to cheer on her friends. The girl fell asleep pretty early into the rounds and Rhiannon held her while she slept until the end of the tournament. Adorable! We just have to wonder what happens to these kids that become so desensitized to all the violence! Although, Rhiannon herself grew up around the rings and seems perfectly well adapted. In fact, she seems more normal than most in RhyDin!

What is going on between Archmage Sivanna and Sullen Sal??? She was overheard asking Harris the night before if he had seen Sal and then last night seemed a bit concerned when she herself saw him in the Annex after his exit from the Talon tournament. We hear that they were seen having an intimate chat but we have no details what they were talking about. Curious, no??? We cannot figure out what the common link between the two of them is. Do any of you have any details???

Rekah showed that her amazing Madness run is no fluke by putting in quite the performance! She made it into the final match but was not able to get past Roderick. He took the 5-3 win in eleven rounds in the finals and became the Talon of Redwin!

The holder of the Talon, Imp, was in rare form. Our sources reported back to us that he was already calling himself “the Overlord”  and shouting at his opponents that they were not allowed to hit him. We have a feeling that G’nort was suddenly rethinking this whole Talon in the Warlord Tournament thing. Imp was certainly making a spectacle of himself because if there’s one thing Imp knows how to do well it’s get attention!

Big shock! Another night, another chance for Kalamere to get close with another baroness. The night before it was Teagan and Sunday night it was Lil’ Black Book Jaycy that was seen getting cozy with Kal. We hear that she was seen laying a kiss against his cheek while they watched the Arena’s warlords duke it out. We’re pretty surprised to see that Kalamere didn’t enter the tournament himself. Maybe he wasn’t fibbing when he said that he was no longer interested in titles. Kal didn’t stick around long but was sure to tell Jaycy that they would catch up later in the week. Oh, we bet that they will!

Soerl didn’t have an easy going in the tournament. Not only was he getting it from all angles in the ring but his wife, Lydia, wasn’t too thrilled with him either. Evidently she was overheard giving him quite the lecture for his recent behavior towards Cutie Carley and Harper. While Soerl apologized to Harper, he didn’t seem to keen on the idea of apologizing to Cutie Carley. In fact, he was overheard saying that she had been “mean” to him. Are you serious? She’s the most adorable thing on the planet! We don’t buy it all! We always knew there was a reason that we didn’t like Soerl! JERK! Harper stuck up for Carley and told him to take it easy on her. Yay, Harper!

OMG! John was in a pretty anxious sort of mood Sunday night. Has playing two girls got to be too much for him??? Our sources tell us that he was actually overheard saying to Harper that May’s going to kill him for leading her to believe that he and Harper are over! WHAT?!?! Dude, you don’t tell one girl how you’ve been playing the other. Confessions are only good for the heart, not for staying alive!

Oh, no! Who in their right mind said it was okay for Rowdy Rekah to be spending time with Cas??? We hear that they have often been seen together while we’ve been gone and that it has a creepy sort of romantic vibe to it. Ugh. Cas was overheard calling Rekah a distraction between matches due to her beauty (gross!) and the pair seemed actually smitten. There is something so very wrong about this. Where are all the protective forces in her life to stop this??? Our sources also say that Cas was overheard saying that he had only entered for the competition and wasn’t actually interested in the Overlord title. He is, however, interested in becoming a baron. There’s usually a round of baronial challenges right after the Warlord Tournament. We wouldn’t be shocked if Cas turned out to be one of them. Who do YOU think he will challenge?

Marcus was the MAN in the tournament! The kid’s been a real dueling whiz and he made sure to put his stamp on this tournament. We hear that one round he even SHUT OUT the very experienced Morgan in five rounds. Ouch! Morgan made up for it a bit by having her own shut out in five in the loser’s bracket over Red who is an old warlord who returned just in time for the WLT.

In the end, however, the crazy Talon holder, Imp, emerged from the Winner’s Bracket and Wrecking Crew member, Kheldar, emerged from the Loser’s Bracket. The Crew failed to secure their hold on the Overlord title through this Warlord Tournament as the Talon shut out Kheldar in six rounds! We hear that Imp was a little anxious when Dioxane  told him that his prize was a shot at Tical for the title. That is he was afraid until he remembered that Tical owes him a debt. Unfortunately, Imp didn’t explain further but we’re dyyyyying to know what Tical owes Imp and why!

I guess we’ll just have to wait for that challenge to be issued to know the details!

We hear that Darien was busy interviewing potential employees for that piece of crap Post while the match was on going. Evidently some graphic designer/cartoonist was looking for a gig. We have to wonder what’s wrong with him to be unable to get a job with a legitimate news organization. Yeah. Burn. When asked why he wanted to work for the Post, the interviewee stated that it was a “professional” news organization, not just another “gossip rag”. Hilarious! We. Die.

Iiiiinteresting! We hear that the Baron Tormay was trying to get Sal to join his house — House deGorol! Baron Tormay had quite the sales pitch in attempting to get Sullen Sal to bite. We have to wonder why the baron would put so much effort into getting a commoner with a record barely over .500 on board. Could he see something in Sullen Sal that caused him to pick him out of the crowd for an invitation into his dueling house??? As this is a brand new house we have little to go on when it comes to Tormay’s skill in finding young talent but he was overheard saying that if Tormay didn’t believe he was a horrible student, he just had to “ask Jaycy”…. a clear reference to the falling out the pair had when Sullen Sal was Lil’ Black Book Jaycy’s squire!

While Sullen Sal was busy turning Tormay down, Deliciously Sinful Sin had found another way to amuse himself! Flirting with a lovely young woman who called herself Harper. He was pretty shameless as always and even personally invited her to the dueling showcase he was hosting the following Tuesday. We suppose that you just sort of become used to this sort of behavior out of D.S. Sin after you’ve been with him for a while. He’ll certainly never change! In fact, our sources say there was even a discussion about a dinner date between the two while Sullen Sal looked on with a bored expression!

PIMP Imp was in rare form in more ways than one! He managed to hit on pretty much every woman that stepped foot in the Arena, including his opponents! He faced off in the second round against former Talon winner, Ms. Wyh Not! Our sources tell us that he even tried to convince her that he was the Overlord and that she should have his babies. Now we’re usually of the mind set that babies are ALWAYS cute but…. baby imps??? Even if the womenfolk were quick to turn down Imp’s advances, nobody could match Imp’s skill! He sailed through the tournament into the final round to face off against Thorne but even Thorne couldn’t keep Imp from taking the win!

We love Slutty Pirate Teagan because she never fails to entertain! It seems  she is not giving up on her desire to bed Smokin’ Sartan. Not that we can blame her. The guy seems to spend all of his time working out. However, that girl really cannot seem to get enough lovin’ to make her happy. She’s got to have some daddy issues… or self-esteem issues… or maybe a combination of them both. Later in the evening, Smokin’ Sartan was seen trying to hook S.P. Teagan up with his single buddies, Speedster Nova and Randy Rix. Either he’s a really bad wingman or she’s smarter than we think she is because she turned the boys down. Better luck next time, guys!

Oddly enough, Morgan showed up to duel! We hear that she had a less than stellar night but we can only hope that’ll bring her into the Arena more to hone her skills! There were quite a few old-timers not only dueling but also watching! In fact, Des was in the house! Yep, you read that right! SUUUUUPER DES! We’re so glad to see her back! You better believe we’re dying to know where she’s been, though! She was pretty tight-lipped about what she’s been up to as of late. She’s definitely a very private sort of lady but if we find out anything we’ll be sure to pass it along!

What is up with FLAWLESS Koy??? We really hate to say this because we absolutely adore the woman but…. is it just us or is she not looking quite so FLAWLESS these days??? We’re not just talking about those awful boots she’s been wearing (which she evidently has to wear because of an injury) but she down right just seems like a mess and there were no signs of change at the tournament while she hung out with Baroness Real Estate Mogul Rena and one of the warlords entered in the tournament, Kheldar. Our sources say that they rarely see her without Red Orc Brewery’s Skullsplitter Ale in hand. We sure hope she gets her act together soon. We don’t like to see this at all!

R.E.M. Rena had her new man, Rico, at her side while she watched the warlords battle it out. We hear that Cowboy Jake showed up for a while and invited the pair of them to a tree trimming party on his ranch. What fun! He also made sure to extend a very special invitation to the gal he’s seemed to have his eye on, Marvelous Mira, but Marvelous Mira didn’t really commit and suggested she may get stuck working. He’s hot, honey! And he’s polite and hot and good to you and hot! You HAVE to make that happen!

Sullen Sal and Deliciously Sinful Sin had another date night in the Arena. The pair spent the night snuggled together and seemed to have a bet riding on the winner of the tournament. We can’t tell you what the bet was because it’s too graphic for even THIS publication but nevertheless we bet the boys had fun after the tournament. Both chose Wrecking Crew members with Sullen Sal put his hopes on Tical and D.S. Sin putting his on Kheld. Interestingly enough, the Crew guys had LOYAL Baroness (and fellow Crew member) Maria on hand to support his bid to win a chance to take down the Overlord.

In the end it was Sullen Sal who turned up the winner of the night when his pick ended up winning! Tical came out of the winner’s bracket after dominating the competition and defeated Joex who banged his way through the one-loss bracket. Therefore, it’ll be yet ANOTHER rematch between the Warlord Tical and Overlord Anubis!

We hear that Gullible Guil was on hand to cheer on his favorites. It seems he didn’t take so kindly to our sentiments on his new bride and her pregnancy. Luckily for him, Michiko was on hand to tell him not to listen to us and to reassure her friends that she is loyal to her man. Boooooo! Booooo, we say! We would like her much better if she was much less loyal to her man. As for Gullible Guil, he’d be a lot better off if he listened to our words of wisdom rather than ignore us…. but WHATEV!

Our Darling Taneth was, of course, present and accounted for! What would a tournament be without O.D. Taneth cheering on… well, everybody from the sidelines??? Her new furry little buddy, Chester, was hot on her heels.  Also hanging out with her was Crazy Train Tara who wasted no time in oogling the participants. Really, shouldn’t Lucky Lawyer Lucien or somebody step in to keep these two from spending so much time together??? Every time we hear that O.D. Taneth has called C.T. Tara “Mama Tara” we die a little inside. It’s really disturbing. Almost as disturbing as when she refers to Old Man Tass as “Papa Tass”.

Archmage Venom Vinny’s attention span is as short as a gnat! About halfway through the tournament, he seemed to forget that he was there to watch who would be challenging him for his title and instead started making out with Crazy Train Tara. Yep, you read that right! He started MAKING OUT with a MARRIED woman smack dab in the MIDDLE of an ongoing tournament. These two definitely aren’t the walking embodiment of the phrase “low profile”.

We always knew that there was something going on between Simmering Sivanna and Keeper Neo and she’s not doing ANYTHING to convince us otherwise! In fact, she was spotted keeping an AWFULLY close eye on his ring Tuesday night. She was even seen mouthing words of encouragement to him. Oddly enough, there are reports that she was a bit teary-eyed even and that Aja did not leave her side through out the night. Iiiinteresting. We’re dying to know what’s up and really hoping everything is okay with her. We really love, love, LOVE the idea of her and Keeper Neo together!

Real Estate Mogul Rena’s man, Prof. Jolyon, cheered her on! We hear that Topaz even provided him with a set of pompoms. OMG! To make matters even more surprising, he used them! Prof. Jolyon using pompoms??? Is love in the air??? Perhaps the cheering section was what she needed because R.E.M. Rena stepped away the victor at the end of a very long night of dueling!!!

We hear that there was a lot of new faces filling Tormay’s rings for the event! We evidently have a serious amount of work to do since our summer break because our sources had a hard time naming very many of them at all! No fear, friends! We’ll be back up to speed in no time!

One face that our super secret sources had no trouble identifying was Neo! In fact, we hear that the dueling prodigy may have even collected his first groupie! A very pretty little thing was shooting smiles his way. She’s definitely a new face around town and was awfully friendly! We hear that Neo was not feeling her vibe! In fact, when she leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek, he turned the other way. Wow! Nice to know the boy has a good head on his shoulders. Floozies need not apply!

We hear that Simmering Sivanna didn’t seem too terribly thrilled by the young woman with her eyes on her dear friend. Iiiinteresting! We always knew that Simmering Sivanna and Neo were a weeeee bit close! But could there be more to it??? The newcomer was overheard telling Simmering Sivanna how cute Neo was and Simmering Sivanna whole-heartedly agreed.

Want to hear an oddity??? It seems there was a Laylla dueling in the tournament who got knocked out in the first round. This same Laylla was later overheard telling Jaycy that she used to be quite active in the rings but had been spending quite a few years traveling. Jaycy did not connect the dots but our sources tell us that one of her dear friends was married to a Laylla sometime ago. It certainly seems to be an unusual name and what we know so far fits the bill. We’ll keep a very close eye on this one!

In the end, it was Doc Anya that emerged victorious. Wonderful. Another reason for her massively large ego to swell. Maybe it’ll be a turning point for her. She certainly could learn a lot from a tough, no-nonsense woman like the late great Siera!

The former overlord and former baron Rena had QUITE the supporting crowd in the audience. We’re told that Manly Mason and Doc Eva showed up ready to PARTY! The pair were loaded down with food, beer, and foam fingers! We hear that the pair certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves and were very vocal supporters of Rena. Jolyon joined them but the pennant waving and cheering seemed more confusing to him than enjoyable! That’s our Jolyon — much more comfortable in a library than a sporting arena!

Despite all that, Jolyon REALLY started getting into it. We hear that he was even on his feet a time or two and could scarcely tear his eyes from Rena’s ring! Iiiiinteresting, no??? Could Jolyon have a thing for the talented dueler??? They certainly have similar temperaments!

Darling Taneth was still revealing in her wedding plans and discussing them with her friend, Rory. Darling Taneth just seems so darn excited! It’s adorable. Her man, Tormay, kept busy in the rings and keeping an eye on who might be challenging him for his title! Rory’s man, SMOKIN’ Sartan, was one of those possibilities but was knocked out early. He had an interesting second round match against Teagan that left our sources wondering if there isn’t a bit of sexual tension between the two!!! There were certainly several curious looks shared between the pair. Teagan is pretty darn HAWT! It’d be hard not to notice!

Crazy Train Tara was present and accounted for as well to cheer on Anubis! With all the men in her life, we’re still not sure how she has time for anything other than men.  Somehow she manages to keep causing trouble, however! We have a feeling that her husband wouldn’t be too happy to hear that his wife was down in the Inn’s basement last night acting like a fan girl!

Rena emerged victorious from the winner’s bracket with Teagan coming from the loser’s bracket but Rena’s advantage couldn’t save her! Teagan took her down in two straight matches to win the tournament in her usual dominating fashion!

The crowd grew quiet to hear how the prizes would be chosen! Ms. Wyh Not seemed particularly interested! Could she be hoping to challenge for one herself sometime soon! She is quite the talented duelist herself. Even Chief Mischief Maker Eless snuck down as soon as her shift was over to find out how it would all play out.

Teagan decided to take the Dockside baronial ring and her decision was quickly followed by Rena taking Battlefield Park! P-I-M-P Imp gave the girls a good teasing for taking all the jewelry, leaving HAWT Daddy Kheld with the Overlord Challenge! It seems that Kheld won’t be sitting on this one. He made it pretty clear that he intends to press challenge to Overlord Tormay! That will be an excellent match-up!

Congratulations go to Teagan, Rena, and Kheld! What a fine event!

We find it slightly amusing that while Crazy Train Tara was upstairs getting married, Anubis was down in the Annex watching the tournament! It’s all the more amusing because Anubis constantly degrades the tournament! Perhaps he should have skipped it if he finds it so horribly boring and paid a little closer attention to C.T. Tara…. or perhaps he isn’t that into C.T. Tara. Anubis is supposedly married, after all! We have a feeling there’s a lot more drama buried in this.

Venom Vinny was really unhappy during his match against The Gov MAN-tastic Matt! Evidently, while ahead by several points, the Pathfinder opal assisted Matt in avoiding Venom Vinny’s attack. Venom Vinny rightly said that if he wasn’t allowed to us his magic in the swords’ rings then Matt should not be allowed to use Pathfinder. MAN-tastic Matt said that he had no control over the opal and Venom Vinny scoffed at his inability to control Pathfinder. MAJOR! We hate to agree with Venom Vinny but…. he’s RIGHT! We don’t know what’s scarier that The Gov MAN-tastic Matt is using Pathfinder so blantantly in a ring or that he claims to have no control over the opal!

Luscious Lydia was raring to go for this tournament! She definitely seems to have taken a liking to the dueling rings. It’s hard to imagine that she’s come to enjoy such a violent sport! She made it past the first several rounds but in the end didn’t have what it took to bring down The Gov MAN-tastic Matt either. Things got REALLY odd after the match! MAN-tastic Matt was overheard telling Luscious Lydia to stay away from his wife!!! OMG!!! Luscious Lydia was definitely confused as to what she might have done to DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy. So are we! Insane!

MAN-tastic Matt’s anger seemed to be just what he needed to clench victory! Without much trouble at all, he sailed through the competition to claim the title of this cycle’s Talon of Redwin!

The night started out a bit on the crazy side! Luscious Lydia waltzed on in clad in a cheerleading outfit complete with purple pom poms! Oh, be still our heart! That is the start of quite a few men’s fantasies and, by the look on his face, Cute Single Dad Bane might be one of those men! It’s nice to see that Luscious Lydia knows how to keep her man satisfied.

We hear Lil’ Boy Blue Locke was quite confused to be face-to-face with RAT-tastic Napoleon for the very first time! What never seen a talking, dueling, candy-fiend rodent before, Locke??? Yes, he is REALLY a rat! And, yes, he REALLY is a pirate…. at least he claims he is!

Space Girl Alyson and Space Boy Chase (the male one, not the PAARTY version) were seen quite close between rounds as they competed! It seems that the pair are definitely keeping their relationship hush-hush but you can’t deny the chemistry there! We love to spot them sneaking little talks between matches. Absolutely adorable!

With Napoleon cheering on his former Badside Brawlers teammate, it was Kaylin who emerged victorious and won the Claw for the cycle! Congratulations, Kaylin!

SMOKIN’ Sartan made a crack about being “sneaky” and his opponent at the time, Venom Vinny, immediately questioned to see if his wife “knew about that problem”. SMOKIN’ Sartan was more than a little confused. It seems that he doesn’t know Venom Vinny that well! You’ve got to love Venom Vinny! Even after the jig is up and his wife has left for more loyal pastures, he’s still trying to get tips on how to refine his technique for next time! We sure hope there’s a next time very soon. This guy’s just too good for our blog for words!!!

The lovely Taneth was present cheering for… well, pretty much everyone as usual! In fact, we believe she may have even cheered for the caller, RAT-tastic Napoleon on one or two occasions! She was looking lovely as always, of course! We’re definitely looking forward to that hug we’re hoping to get from her in the marketplace on Saturday!

Interestingly enough, DoD-er FLAWLESS Koy was in fact present and looking stunning as usual but was surprisingly sitting on the sidelines! The self-proclaimed Lady of the Outback actually sat this DQ out! She was seen sitting at a table and quietly talking with SMOKIN’ Sartan’s wife, Rory, who is getting pleasantly plump and pregnant. The pair seemed quite involved in their own conversation. We wonder what THAT was about!

In the end of the round robin tournament, three participants emerged with tied records, including SMOKIN’ Sartan! Despite a pretty impressive effort to repeat, he failed and it was FILF Kheldar who emerged from the crowd to collect yet ANOTHER Diamond!
