So continues the streak of women who wish to take down the Duel of Swords’ Overlord, Baroness of the Dockside District! Jaycy Ashleana issued challenged to Overlord Cletus Ganderfald and the pair met this past Wednesday night to battle it out for the keys to Overlord Island.

Although Cletus never seems to be very popular with the female duelists, he does have one woman always at his side — his wife, Arane. He escorted her in and she served as his lady of honor for the night. By the way, although neither he nor his wife has officially confirmed that she is pregnant, our sources say that they may have caught a hint of baby bump action going on despite her loose clothing.

G’nort was quick to heckle the Ganderfalds calling Cletus “self-righteous” and Arane a “snooty witch” but he did not keep his ire to just the the Overlord’s entourage. He was also overheard telling the ADORABLE Uriko that the short of stature SLUTTACIOUS Jaycy is a “little midgety troll”. Redundant much? G’nort must have been off his game because he usually has waaaay better material.

You had to know that FREE LOVE Jaycy would find one heck of a date for the event. The luscious but elusive Leo served as her Lord of Honor. Their relationship remains a mystery. Perhaps he simply doesn’t mind being one man amongst many in her life. How does she keep them all straight as they roll in and out of her bed???

The Gov Kitty appeared to watch the festivities. Although, Jaycy’s second, Max, couldn’t resist from his usual behavior. He told Kitty she smelled like “food”. Yeaaaaah. Max can be a little scary. Even Den Mama Sid came out to watch for a bit!

Everybody’s favorite cheerleader Tareth was there but was too distracted to cheer by Grayson’s presence (after an extended absence from the dueling venues) and by chatter that G’nort was thinking of setting up his eldest son with Uriko. Poor Uriko. We don’t want her around spawn of G’nort!!!

DoDer Rena called the matches which was set to be a Best of Three set-up. Cletus didn’t need three matches. He proved why he is Overlord in only two. Although, he may not be the nicest guy in the world, you got to respect that. He’s faced three challenges in the cycle he’s been Overlord and has handily beat each and everyone of those ladies!!!

The Inn and the dueling venues have been short on special events this month. Everybody must be out having summer-y types of fun!!! We were excited to see a Overlord Challenge taking place in the Arena Thursday night!

The Baroness from Battlefield Park and Wrecking Crew member Maria Graziano was facing off against Overlord Cletus Ganderfald in a best of three match-up for the title and the right to reside at Overlord Island! Maria dueled with her husband Bode Bojangles (who made a rare appearance in the Arena) as her second and the Pimp-alicious Imp as her Imp of honor! Cletus was seconded by his brother (and a many-titled duelist himself) Magnus Eques and was dueling for the honor of his (rumored) pregnant wife Arane Nausikaa who was noticeably absent from the proceedings.

Quite the crowd gathered to watch the match which Imp called!

G’nort, baron of the Old Market District, showed up and made it clear that he would be renegade no matter who won. G’nort has a long-time standing (and at times violent) feud with Cletus over a number of issues and G’nort has not been on speaking terms with Maria since his current wife Kaja (who used to be a member of the Crew) left fiancee and WRC mega-hottie Tical for G’nort.

Baroness of Seaside Karen Wilder who ALSO has long-time standing disagreement with both Cletus (who Karen has been accused of challenge-stalking for unknown reasons) and Maria (who has insulted Karen on a number of occasions for seemingly no reason). As Cletus took the win in three matches, Karen made it quite clear that she was planning on challenging as soon as the standings came out on Thursday.

Former baroness/overlord and current DoD-er Rena was spotted at the bar DRINKING! While it may sound odd that we were surprised to see a DoD girl drink, she’s usually the sober one of the bunch! Rena was, of course, in the presence of her close “man-friend” Darren. As usual Darren was busy hitting on everything in a skirt.

Which included the Baroness of Dockside Jaycy! Bad Boy Darren was overheard telling Rena that he couldn’t sleep the night before because Jaycy had gotten him all wound up with no release!!! And THEN went on to say that he had done the same to her the night prior to that!!! When is that cute little Sugar going to wise up and drop his tail!!! As for Jaycy??? Tsk, tsk, tsk. The girl is STILL a slut after all these years!!!

Even the Gov Kitty turned out for the challenge match but she didn’t seem to really know why she was there. Maybe her people made her attend??? G’nort kept her amused through out and we bet if asked today what sort of match was happening, the HAWTIE Gov would have NO IDEA!!!

Tony Graziano showed up to cheer on his older sister (and get love from the womenfolk, of course) a bit late due to his IFL match!!! Taneth certainly seemed to like the kid as well!!! Tony took exception to being introduced as “Maria’s brother”and when Taneth told him that it was because Maria is beautiful, Tony assured her that he is more beautiful than Maria. We HEART Tony!!!

Maria dominated in the beginning but slow and steady wins the race!!! Cletus pulled ahead in the second match and took the third solidly to defend his title once again. We guess that all those “performance enhancing supplements” doesn’t help too much with endurance does it, Maria???

Alain stopped into the Inn for a while Friday night. Le sigh! He is still sooooo dreamy! Even if Cassie is dressing like a messy bum and being catty to our dear sweet Piper. We think Alain needs a new woman!!! Who do you think would be a good match??? Adorable Piper??? Her creative energy might be a great match for the Type A personality of Alain. Or maybe the DoD’s Sluttacious Charlie??? She’s a fellow private investigator after all! New girl Hannah could be a possibility! The two of them met Friday night at the bar and spent some time talking shop. She was a FBI profiler in her former life and probably would be helpful in his business. Oh, maybe Erin!!! Alain’s always seemed to have a thing for her. Wouldn’t that be juicy???

He spent a bit of time with the Gov Kitty and Icer discussing an incident in which a local woman was badly hurt and kidnapped. Evidently Icer witnessed the event and from her description of the woman, Alain was able to determine that it was Miss B (who has appeared in this blog several times for her relationship with Good Boy Cor)!!!

Cassie was by not too much later covered in garbage!!! WHAT?!?! Shower before you go out, girl!!! Not to mention that she STUNK but then she glared at the rest of the patrons like it was their fault. Ridiculous! Again, if you’d like to be Alain’s new girlfriend, send us a head shot and your resume. Candidates are being taken!!!

Yummy!!! SMASHING Issy walked through the door and you know there will be some fun whenever Issy walks through the door! She exchanged one-liners with the Gov and discussed the problems of the city. To make this duo even more delicious, it became a trio when Former Lil’ Miss Anger Management Jewell entered!!! They discussed Tass being kidnapped by the lawyers. It appears that Tass still has not yet turned up and Kitty continues to appear quite upset by this.

Jewell and Hawk discussed Jewell’s belated honeymoon!!! It appears that Jewell and Stephen will be going away together for a while after all. The pair are planning to take a kid-free cruise on Stephen’s The Pride and Fury which will allow the newlyweds some much-needed alone time!!! Now we’re willing to bet that Super Fertile Jewell will come back from that trip inseminated!!!

The legendary former Overlord Xeno was calling the early shift in the Arena! Our dear sweet Uriko really seemed to charm him! But who wouldn’t be taken in by her innocence and friendliness??? The current Overlord Cletus showed up for a duel late into the evening. His rumored pregnant wife Arane stopped by to watch him as well. The pair had a conversation afterwards and it seems that the Overlord’s wife believes that her husband is getting a bit too old to continue challenging.

Cute little Carley was having some trouble Tuesday night in the Inn! The darling blonde elf was spotted by our sources chasing a cat around the common room. Eventually, she was able to catch up with it and scruff it but the sight was entertaining while it lasted! Later she was spotted at the bar talking about Erin’s vacation. It appears our Cute Single Erin has left on holiday for a week or two. Oh, how we’ll miss her!

Amber and Jewell passed paths during a shift change. Sweet Amber was overheard saying that she works in the Inn because of all the great people while Jewell responded that she works at the Inn to keep up with all the juicy gossip!!! See, we knew Jewell was a woman after our own hearts!

Fantastic Jewell was wearing a soaking wet set of clothing that showed off more of her loooovely parts than we imagine her husband would prefer. Even sexy Panther seemed to take a double look! Right in front of Panther, Tristen wandered up to the bar asking to be “hit hard” and Jewell punched him hard in the face!!! Evidently all he was asking for was a drink. Somebody really needs to gain control of Jewell’s violent streak.

FLAWLESS Koy is the BEST Fashion Police EVAR!!!! Jade entered the Inn last night looking sexy and oooooh so classy in a light strawberry patterned strapless dress and was without her usual dark make-up. So summery and so fun! We bow down to you Koy for the changes in Jade! She looks MARVELOUS! We’re not worthy!!!

Taneth seemed a bit uneasy about Lucky’s presence. We suppose that spiders are something that even Taneth can’t find cute! She expressed her fear to Kitty that bugs eat people and The Gov reassured her that Lucky will not be eating anyone.

Darren was seen drinking and hanging out alone in the Inn with SOD teammate Rena. Rena’s man certainly hasn’t been seen in a while and Darren’s supposedly dating Sugar. It seems that even Sugar’s twin believes there’s something more going on between the pair!!! Is there trouble already in Darren and Sugar’s relationship???

The Overlord Challenge brought out a handful of RhyDin’s famous to support both the challenger Sarah “Stick” Allian and the Overlord Cletus Ganderfald. Stick just so happens to be the wife of Harris, the man whom Cletus beat to gain his title and Stick immediately issued challenge. We do love when the women get involved!!! Harris was there to support his foul-mouthed friend as was DoD-er and Stick’s close friend the FLAWLESS Fashion Officer Koy. On the Overlord’s side of the ring sat his rumored pregnant wife Arane and one of his employees Losden (who has recently issued challenge for the Seaside barony).

After solid back-to-back wins, Cletus earned the right to retain the title and the mansion on Overlord Island. Congratulations, Overlord Ganderfald!!!

There’s nothing like the pomp and circumstance of an Overlord challenge to bring about a little melodrama! Thursday was the scene of just the ticket in the basement Annex to the Arena where Overlord Harris D’Artainian faced off against three-time Overlord and the winner of the past cycle’s Warlord Tournament Cletus Ganderfald!

Harris arrived with his official army candy Shey at his side! Shey had certainly prepared for the night and was dressed in a gown of black silk patterned with pink and white cherry blossoms! Surprisingly classy for the dueling rings’ professional escort. The Overlord’s foul-mouthed wife Stick stormed in behind her, looking not the least bit pleased that he entered with Shey and not her!

Cletus arrived with much less fanfare. His wife Arane (who is rumored to be pregnant) accompanied him to stand as his lady of honor while his brother Magnus was present to serve as his second. The warlord looked on quietly as the Overlord settled his entourage down. It was finally settled that Stick would serve as the Overlord’s lady of honor and his good friend Sartan would be his second.

Outside the ring there was lots of snuggles! Grayson and Taneth were cuddling together and Taneth scooped up Ratty Nappy for a good cuddle as well! Unfortunately for Grayson and Ratty Nappy, they lost their snuggling priviledges when Taneth caught them being mean to a goblin. I agree with the boys (…well, the boy and the rat) … goblins are nothing but troublemakers!

With quiet but uber handsome Deluthan calling the match the Overlord took an early four point lead in the first duel but then dropped four straight points to the Warlord. In the end, however, the Overlord was able to get that final point to take the first duel. So excited was Stick that she jumped into Sartan’s arms! Now is it just us or does Stick and Sartan make faaaaar better sense than Stick and Harris???

Cas arrived with his usual “helpful” repartee that seemed to seriously irk Stick. And who was there to calm her??? Why Sartan, of course! G’nort also arrived and again assured Taneth that he does not need to be sprayed with things that’ll make him smell like flowers.

Despite dropping the first duel Cletus made quick work of the second two duels and became the seventy-third Overlord of the Duel of Swords. The barons present quickly chimed in with their alignments. Rena declared herself loyal and Cletus promised her his blade if it should be needed. Will we possibly be seeing an Intercession match in her challenge on Thursday? G’nort declared that men want to be him, his wife is the hottest woman in RhyDin, and that he would be renegade to the new Overlord (which isn’t surprising considering their considerable history which includes Cletus’s wife setting fire to G’nort’s Golden Ivy Tavern and G’nort blowing Cletus’s RhyDin home sky high).

This Overlord title would be an impressive number FOUR for the long-time duelist. For those of you not brushed up on your Swords’ history, this would mean that Cletus has surpassed Xeno’s three Overlord titles to sit on top the Overlords in number of titles held. Congratulations, Cletus!

Well, you’ve got to hand it to Harris, he sure knows how to throw an event! The current Overlord (with calling assistance from cute as a button Rory and Keeper Mrs Wyh Not) was the host of this cycle’s Warlord Tournament (the winner of which gets a shot to take his title) and the talented pool of thirteen duelists duked it out for over SIX hours!

Of course, the action outside the ring was just as hot and heavy as the action within the rings. Kaja and G’nort were up to their typical oversexed ways! She’s always looking at him as if she’s undressing him with her eyes and he’s always talking about undressing her. Isn’t it cute when two nymphomaniacs find one another?!?!

Even her boss Artemus seemed shocked when Rena lost it on Val during a heated discussion. Were they talking of rumors of Val’s infidelity??? Rena’s been spending too much time with the girls of DoD. They’re short tempers are wearing off on her. She slammed a beer bottle against her man in anger!!! Gotta love those DoD girls! They do know how to throw a good show! Val ended her temper tantrum by blurting out that he’s in love with her. That seemed to cool Rena’s heels…. at least until he does it again. Cheaters never learn!

Baroness Jaycy even remembered where the Annex was and showed up to witness the tournament! But you have to know it’s not because she felt obligated to be there as a baronial responsibility. Instead, she was deeply engaged in conversation with the quiet but very handsome Leo de Lorenzo. She’s been spotted on several occasions with him and as her attention usually runs short on men the moment she beds them we’ll assume that he’s holding out on her. KEEP YOUR PANTS ON, MAN!

Jewell showed up to cheer on Bran who despite his rookie standing hung in with the veteran duelers until the very end. The former baroness Morgan made us very happy by extending her come back after the Madness Tournament to the Warlord Tournament. She had a solid performance and spent the evening cheering on her good friend and the owner of Red Orc (the brewery behind everybody’s favorite beer - Badsider) Jake Thrash. And Taneth made an appearance to cheer on…. well, everyone.

Cletus was the last man standing at the end of the night and earned himself the right to challenge Harris for the Overlord title. But that wasn’t the end of the good news for Cletus! Shortly before his final match, his wife Arane was overheard telling him that they had another baby on the way.

Cletus wasn’t the only one to walk away with a prize. Second place went to bad ass Aya who kicked butt and took names the entire night. While she lost to Cletus in the third round, she battled her way through the Loser’s Bracket to face off with him again in the final match. She won the first but Cletus was able to beat her back in seventeen rounds to take top billing. Aya accepted the baronial challenge and look for her to be issuing a challenge in the next week!

The Inn wasn’t the only place with violence last night! It was a night of fantastic oldies in the Arena!!! Sooo… let’s play our FOURTH edition of the delightful game SPOTTED:

- One of CDR’s sluttacious pin-ups, Caedia, showing off her ASSets while her lickable husband Kheld fought his Madness duel. These two are scrum-delicious and Caedia’s propensity towards violence makes us love her even more!

- The legendary duelist and teller of bad puns, Var, showed up for a duel or two!!! Perhaps the salty old man has a come back left in him yet??

- Speaking of salty old men, also seen was former Overlord and all-around stately guy Cletus with his snarky wife Arane. Both appeared to be deeply involved in doing what they do best — plotting. Also present was Cletus’s younger brother and TDL teammate, Magnus, getting a couple duels in.

- On the opposite end of the couple spectrum (you know, from dark and dangerous to happy and go lucky), Gav was present to keep Suuuuper Des company while she called!

- One of the three stooges, Speedy Nova to cheer on (or make fun of) his crazed friend, Harris, during his challenge for the Overlord’s mantle. However, the other two stooges — Rix and Sartan — were notably absent.

- A decked out Shey was there to cheer her “man” Harris on! Evidently Stick seems to have decided to let her live… for now!

- The new Baronness Jaycy was surprisingly toned down and almost… GASP… classy!!!!

- Even the fantastic Goon was present! The friendly resident goof beat man-tastic Brig to move forward in the Madness Tournament. As Goon would say, “Lot good!”
