Zen Gardens Hanami

We hearing a lot about the party to celebrate cherry blossoms and the opening of the Zen Gardens building that went down Sunday night. Evidently there were three tables full of food and the roof gardens were absolutely gorgeous and completely decked out for the event. Paper lanterns were strung between trees setting quite the romantic mood and a DJ spun records late into the night. A lot of fun was had by all!

Bee and Allan seem to be getting along swimmingly! And that girl looks pretty hot when she’s all dressed up! Niiiice score, Allan! Our sources tell us that it was DEFINITELY a date. They were seen entering together and he didn’t seem to be very willing to let go of her hand. They were seen chatting with Mack and Danny who have also seem to have hit couple status. For some reason, they’re not NEARLY as cute as Bee and Allan. Perhaps that’s because Mack cheated on her man to get with Danny. That’s just never a good way to start a relationship.

Darcy was there in a skimpy dress, of course, because what is a high profile party in RhyDin without a barely clad jello girl. They make my head hurt. Our sources evidently lost count as to the number of shots she did. Ugh. Anyway, we hear that she was chatting with a young woman named Mataya who lives in the building. Very pretty woman. And probably a little too classy to have anything in common with Darcy. From what our sources overheard, she was an actress in her home world and now runs a yoga studio in the Zen Gardens building. We’re definitely going to keep our eye out for that one!

Riley was there, of course, hosting the party. We hear that she did quite a decent job of making sure that her guests were comfortable. We’re actually a little surprised that she had it in her. She seems a bit… or more than a bit flaky to us! Daniel seemed awfully proud of her. Our sources say that he was overheard saying that he couldn’t have anything but a fantastic time with the gorgeous date that he had. How adorable is that!

As usual, Eva looked understated but gorgeous in a simple silver dress. And she had her best accessory with her — Mason. It’s too bad he’s not mute. He’s so pretty and then he always has to ruin it by going and opening his mouth. Anyway, he seemed to be on his best behavior Sunday night. The pair drank sake and munched on the excellent food. They definitely seemed to be having a quiet and intimate date night.

Collie was there for a while on her own sampling the food and enjoying the music before Darien showed up. Really, we’re not all that surprised. Doesn’t Darien strike you as the type that would show up an hour late to a date??? Actually, what’s more surprising is that he showed up at all. We have a feeling that he’s left more than one woman waiting in his lifetime while he went out with a hotter one or had drinks with the boys. We hear that they twirled about the dance floor for a bit before leaving together.

A Doll Of A Tuesday!

What would a Tuesday night in the Red Dragon Inn be without Amber??? Like a day without the sun! We hear that Adorable Amber was indeed behind the bar Tuesday night to serve patrons. She was evidently trying to give away the massive amount of chocolate bunnies that were left over from the weekend. We’re actually not sure what’s more dangerous to pump the patrons of the Inn full of — sugar or alcohol! Well, Amber was certainly doing both!

Aolani was there to spread her debauchery. That seems to be her favorite hobby… or maybe it’s a career. We don’t know a whole heck of a lot about the woman after all and, after hearing reports about how she spends her nights, not much would surprise us. She’s got a pretty little groupie named Jenillisa who’s often in tow and was with her playing some sort of drinking game last night. There was also a girl with her named Jessica who was odd as well. But not odd in Jenillisa’s overly sexual sort of way but in the “Mice are my friends!” sort of way. We hear that Harris was among them as well but didn’t get involved in their game, saying that he couldn’t afford having a hangover at his challenge the next day.

We’re not sure if the reason that Kazzy jumps from job to job is because she can’t keep one or because none of them can keep her attention for more than a month! Either way, she was overheard talking to Lil’ Bit Lirssa about her newest gig. It seems that Kazzy is working on the local ballet theater’s newest production. Thankfully, she’s not actually dancing because nobody wants to see that. She’s evidently doing some behind the scenes grunt work. We give it three weeks!

Speaking of Lil’ Bit Lirssa, it seems that The Many Faces of Fio has totally LIED to her about why her classes are suspended. Our sources overheard Lirssa tell Kazzy that Fio says she’s on “Spring Break”. We’re telling you right now that it is NOT going to go over well when Lirssa finds out that not only has Fio suspended her lessons with Prof. Jolyon but that she lied to her about it. Those are going to be some serious fireworks. Fio is about to get one heck of a crash course in parenting!

We hear that Wulfson was spotted on Twilight Island! He’s always good for a line or two in “Overheard Around Town”! He spent the first half of the evening catching up with old friends but we hear that Xanth did tempt him into the ring later in the evening. Some of our sources are suggesting that the MANY time Archmage might be thinking about another attempt at the title at the end of the cycle. Well, he’s got a couple months to brush up on his skills! We know we’d love to see him throw down with Archmage McPretty Sivanna!

Speaking of the Archmage, we hear that Sivanna didn’t know about the multiple Taneths until last night. Seriously??? What rock does this woman live under??? We’re thinking about having our flyers delivered directly to her home every day. That’s just unacceptable!

A small crowd gathered to duke it out in the Outback Tuesday night as well! We hear that Erin was there and seen catching up with Locke and Carley. Erin was evidently impressed by the strides that both of them have taken in the duels in her absence. We have to wonder if they’ve actually surpassed her skill! Erin is looking awfully rusty these days. We’ll have to wait and see if she’s going to make the commitment to a serious comeback.

Crazy Train Tara was seen pulling in a wagon with a toddler sized doll riding in it. Yep. You read that right. Of course, she was talking to the doll, mixing the doll drinks, and generally acting like herself. Well, evidently at some point, Aya got spooked by the doll. We hear that Aya evidently accused it of moving….. and so she took her sword to it. As you can imagine, Tara was pretty beside herself. Thankfully, though, she seemed more interested in whining to Tass than destroying the Outback. Evidently Tara sent Darcy over to talk to Aya and Aya made it pretty darn clear that she has a strong policy against inanimate objects moving, talking, or sipping on Badsiders at the bar. Take note, Barbie! Stay away from the Outback!

Rumor has it that Joey showed up in the Outback after being MIA for some time. She looked a bit tired but well enough. Her friends all seemed glad to see her but nobody was more thrilled than Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan for obvious reasons. We hear that the ladies decided that they had a lot of “catching up to do” and so they left pretty early into the night. We’re just surprised that Kalamere stayed back and didn’t join them on this “catching up”.

Romance Lessons Wednesday!

The Many Faces of Fio showed up as one of her other selves Wednesday night in the Red Dragon Inn much to her new friend, Kate’s confusion. Fio really should warn people when meeting them that she’s absolutely bonkers. It would certainly make their lives a lot easier. However, it would also be a lot less amusing… so, on second thought, just keep not telling them. We have to wonder how a small child is going to deal with his/her mother changing personalities like that. Ugh. We love Ali and Fio. We’re just not sure how this is going to work out. Fio’s going to need a lot of support and she just doesn’t seem to have it.

Too late, ladies! We told you that this Daniel seemed a bit too good to stay single long in this town! The restaurant owner is handsome and doesn’t seem to have any weird tendencies at first glance. Well, Riley seems to think the same thing! They’ve been seen together in the Inn quite a bit lately and last night she was overheard asking him out on a date. We like girls who know what they want and don’t wait for men to make the first move! Get him, girl! She looked pretty hot too in a pencil dress and with her hair and makeup done smartly. And he was no fool! He accepted her invitation for dinner and a movie. Who wouldn’t???

Evidently Darcy hasn’t been reading our blog… or she was playing dumb to give Lilli a hard time. Knowing Darcy and her love to hear about herself, we’re pretty sure she’s not skipping our blog and that she was actually just playing dumb. Anyway, Darcy gave Zev the third degree to find out exactly what his relationship with Lilli was. The pair were very vague but it was clear to everyone, including clueless Darcy, that they’re quite together. Good for Lilli! We sure hope that he treats her as well as she deserves to be treated!

Porthos seemed to be giving lessons in romance to Renne in the Outback Wednesday night. Iiiinteresting. We’re not really sure that Renne has any need for that and if we were going to be getting lessons in romance we’re not exactly sure that Porthos is who we’d go to… but whatever. We hear that the Frenchman was handing out flowers and sappy soliloquies. If nothing else, Porthos sure is entertaining! While our sources may have been entertained, Renne just seemed a bit confused.

Considering it is the night before the start of the next round of Madness dueling, things might be starting to look rosy for Jake! His opponent for this coming round, Maria, was seen looking mighty worn down and ill in the Outback. She had a quiet conversation with her teammate, Kheldar, and then had some sort of confrontation with Kalamere before stalking out. Kalamere didn’t linger long on whatever went down between them because Teagan was on hand to distract him. It seems she was trying to get him to say that she’s his favorite baroness. Iiiiinteresting? Could this all just be some sort of power struggle between the baronesses with Kalamere in the middle? Now THAT would be amusing! If that’s what’s going on, he certainly doesn’t seem to be complaining!

Kalamere also had a conversation with Ms. Wyh Not about her struggle to become a warlord! She’s so close now and we’re so excited for her! Just two more wins and there will be a Ravenlock among the upper ranks. How exciting! Anyway, it seems that Wyh is definitely interested in challenging when she does make rank but is still torn about whether to challenge on principle or because she’s interested in the district. She questioned Kalamere at length about the baronies he’s held and the reasons he’s challenged for. Isn’t she just the classiest lady EVER?!?!

Save the Garden Gnomes Tuesday!

For crying out loud! Is there a classy bone in Darcy’s body??? Would she know classy if it walked up and popped her upside the head??? She was overheard Tuesday night in the Red Dragon Inn trying to get another jello wrestling event together. You know, some people work to find homes for orphans, some people fight evil monsters threatening to take over the city, some people try to stomp out poverty and Darcy tries to bring people together to drink copious amounts of alcohol and waste food by rolling around in it so that men can drool over her. Fantastic. And, of course, Dean was feeling the action. Ugh. To make matters worse she was actively promoting the event and trying to get women to sign up. AND IT WAS WORKING!!! We hear that even our adorable Amber started talking about wearing a bikini to wrestle around in some jello. Say it ain’t so!

It just seemed a night entirely based on drinking, debauchery, and dumb kids. Aaron rolled in trying to get people to vote for him as he campaigned on a platform of wet t-shirts, beer, and girl-on-girl action. Wonderful. We hear that Quinn eagerly agreed to support him. Big shock there. Maybe she and Dean are made for one another.

We hear that at least Susan was not feeling Aaron’s pitch for governor. She told him that wet clothes and politics don’t mix and that if he touches her he may not keep his hand. Awesome. That girl scores some major brownie points in our book!

It certainly doesn’t seem like this Kate would have anything in common with Fio… other than maybe that they have both banged Ali. Oh, come on. You know you think Kate has too! Anyway, it seems they’ve been getting along swimmingly. The pair were again seen chatting at the bar and then seem to be becoming fast friends. Since Kate seems way more normal than the people that Fio usually hangs out with, we’ve got to think that this is a good thing. Kate was overheard asking Fio when her due date is so we finally know when to expect the baby! Fio said late August or early September! A fall baby! Yay!

That mystery guy who we mentioned was seen with that Riley girl has a name and it’s evidently Daniel. The pair were seen chatting with Kendall (Yep, Kendall! Haven’t seen her around in forever!)  and we hear that he’s opening an Indian restaurant here in RhyDin! Awesome! Give me some naan and kadai chicken and I’m one happy boy! We can’t wait until that place opens up. He seems on the surface to be a pretty decent catch. A man that can and is willing to cook definitely deserves a second look. If you ladies are interested you better get a move on. It sure looks to us like Riley is getting ready to lay claim on him…. if she hasn’t already!

Duci looked on in a mixture of horror and amusement as Crazy Train Tara roasted a gnome and then fed it to Sal…. in the middle of the Inn. That odd combination of horror and amusement seems to follow Crazy Train Tara wherever she goes. We understand that Darcy was actually seen carving the gnome like a turkey. OMG! GNOMES HAVE FEELINGS TOO!!! Some celebrity should take “Save the Garden Gnomes!” on as their next big publicity stunt — eh, we mean “charity project”, of course.

Thorne was seen calling on Twilight Island Tuesday night. We hear that he was overheard trying to come up with a nickname for Esperwind. Ehhh… probably not a good idea. One of his friends should clue him in on Esper’s reputation. He’s not a nickname sort of guy. We do have to admit that we’re glad that Esper’s back but we’re waiting on pins and needles to see who he will lay into first! If Thorne’s not careful, it may very well be him!  Our sources spotted him in a ring at some point with Archmage McPretty (we just had to steal the nickname Harris gave her) Sivanna! What an interesting match, no??? It seems she and that husband of her’s, Alec, are still doing well. Bummer! We still have hopes that someday she’ll realize that she’s desperately in love with Neo.

But All The Cool Kids Are Experimenting Friday!

We’re dyyyying to know exactly when Cutie Carley’s relationship with Cy moved past the friendship zone! We weren’t sure if they would ever cross that line! However, they certainly seemed more than friends Friday night when our sources caught sight of them in the Red Dragon Inn. They were sharing goofy grins and he even was seen patting her leg. You know… we were hoping that these two would get together but now that they have we’re left wondering if he’s good enough for her! She is the most adorable thing on the face of the planet!

Lil’ Bit Lirssa was tending the bar and Kendall and Serena were there with her. We hear that Serena was telling the girls that The World’s Hottest Tender Tucker is better now! We’re super glad to hear that. Evidently all that commotion the night before led to Doc Eva cutting out whatever it was that was causing him to act like… well, like a dirty old man. When he felt up Our Darling Taneth a couple weeks back that was really the last straw. We’re glad that somebody finally did something! Now if only somebody will do something to help O.D. Taneth!

Oh, wow. Has Darcy had a healthy relationship??? Mega Mom Icer was overheard trying to calm her “daughter” down but not much seemed to be working. Somehow Darcy’s current boyfriend, Shadow, made her so angry that she made quite the scene. There was screaming, pounding on doors, and death threats. We hear that she COMPLETELY embarrassed herself by going all crazy girlfriend on him. Later when she finally calmed down a bit she was seen in tears, singing some sad love song. Le sigh. Will this girl ever gain some self-respect???

L.B. Lirssa was seen chatting with Lucky Lawyer Lucien! It seems that some believe she would be better off going off to boarding school! Aw! How sad would that make us??? We’ve got to say, though, it might actually be in her best interest. If she has the friends that can pay for some fancy boarding school, why should she remain in RhyDin tending bar and running the streets??? We hear that she didn’t seem really keen on talking about the subject and instead forced L.L. Lucien to tell her about all the fights he’s been getting into recently. Iiiiinteresting! Our sources couldn’t hear the details which is really a shame because we’d love to hear the explanation for L.L. Lucien’s recent short temper!

What…??? Brale Brother Reap asked L.L. Lucien if he would be okay with him…. well, doing something that even we can’t repeat to Crazy Train Tara!!! Does he have a death wish??? L.L. Lucien told him that he should go for it and C.T. Tara told L.L. Lucien that she would think of him while she was doing the nasty with B.B. Reap. Awesome. Nigel was seen talking quietly to B.B. Reap during this whole incident and perhaps he was able to get through to him because at the end of the night C.T. Tara went her way and B.B. Reap went another. One of the interns believes that B.B. Reap probably just did it to tick off Anubis. We’re not so sure, though. We doubt Anubis holds out hope that C.T. Tara is holding out for him and him alone.

We just do NOT get the rules of Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan and Joey’s relationship. It seems that while they are dating one another, they both have other men that they’re interested in. We’re not sure who Joey’s new man is but evidently S.P.G. Teagan’s guy is named Emmerich. According to our sources S.P.G. Teagan really seems to dig this guy. Not enough to give up Joey, though. We still think that this is just a phase in Joey’s life and that Teagan’s going to be hurt pretty darn bad when she moves on. In fact, our sources say that S.P.G. Teagan has invited Joey to move in with her but Joey declined. Iiiinteresting! Maybe S.P.G. Teagan wants to get serious with Joey but it’s Joey that doesn’t want to get serious with S.P.G. Teagan???

Harris hasn’t decided to start dueling again (which certainly would be a sight as he is a living Outback legend) but he has taken to hanging out in his old haunts again. Even G’naughty G’nort seemed a bit surprised to see him hanging out and causing trouble down there once again. We can only hope that this return to the dueling venues is followed by his wife’s return. We have heard some GLORIOUS stories about her!

Also worth mentioning is that Kitty was seen in the Annex with her husband… who is now sporting breasts. Yeah, for some reason Tass is a woman. We have no idea why and it’s one of those things where you just don’t want to know any additional information, you know?
