Total Score Tuesday!

The always lovely Jenai walked into the Red Dragon Inn Tuesday night to quite the unusual scene. Well, yeah, unusual scenes going down in the Inn are actually usual in that they happen everyday…. but anyway, stick with us here. So Jenai walked in to find Harper and Crazy Train Tara knee deep in some sort of wood-working project. It seems that they were building an advice giving stand. Yep, C.T. Tara wants to give out advice. Oh, come on!!! You know that’s just the sort of train wreck that nobody in this city would be able to resist being a part of! We know that we’d wait in line for HOURS for C.T. Tara’s advice. How fabulous!

Nigel and Brale Brother Reap are certainly a special breed of man. We’re just not sure if it’s the good sort of special or the crazy sort of special! The two men were seen in the Inn dressed in armor. Yep. Heavy plated metal. At first we were thoroughly confused as to why they were sitting at the bar dressed in armor drinking whiskey and talking to Eleanor. Then one of our sources caught them explaining the outfits to Awful Ali by telling him that it was “Eleanor Day”. Wow. What do you think? The good sort of special or the crazy sort of special? Or maybe both?

Oddly enough, our sources say that they saw Our Darling Taneth reprimanding herself and pinching herself to get her own attention… well, sort of. One Taneth was reprimanding the other Taneth and pinched her which made the other Taneth not so happy. This entire thing is getting increasingly odd. We’re really sad about what is happening to poor O.D. Taneth… and Tormay is STILL MIA! We have to wonder what he’s up to. Is he searching for the answer? Could he just not take watching his wife turn into this? Our heart breaks for him!

FLAWLESS Koy was seen chatting with Juliane about the new art gallery she’s helping to open in New Haven which will feature art from a number of artists! It sounds fabulous! The brownstone it’s housed in is lovely. We cannot wait to get our first peak at the interior and the art! It seems FLAWLESS Koy was excited to do what she could to support the business which is located in the same district as her boutique. In fact, the two businesses aren’t too far from each other at all. FLAWLESS Koy was interested in using the space to host one of the events during upcoming Fashion Week! How fantastic would it be to have a party there to celebrate some up and coming designer! Fashion + Art + Alcohol = TOTAL SCORE!

We. Die. How many times in The Dread Pirate Stephen’s life do you think he’s been told by some enraged parent not to touch their daughter??? Well, Tuesday night it was Mega Mom Icer’s turn to lay down the warning and we hear that she did it with a slap! Right across T.D.P. Stephen’s face! Evidently, however, he wasn’t touching some poor unsuspecting girl in the way you’re thinking. Nope! It seems that he was so drunk that he thought one of those little baby dragons always running around all over the place was a rat… and he tried to slap the “rat” with his sword. We think that the dragon infestation this city faces is actually worse than any rat infestation it faces!

There wasn’t a whole heck of a lot of action in the rings Tuesday night but there was a squire tournament held by Maria, the Baroness of Old Temple. A handful of competitors showed up to battle it out for the spot but in the end it was Kalinda who took top honors. Congratulations, Kalinda!

Papa Ali Monday!

Nigel was heard Monday night in the Red Dragon Inn shooting off about what he’s going to do to the slaver and former Overlord, Anubis. We don’t have any concrete evidence as to why Nigel has issues with Anubis but we are hearing unsubstantiated reports that it could be about Charna. Eleanor told Nigel to watch himself when taking on Anubis as he’s not easily taken down and she didn’t feel that the gun Nigel was flashing was going to do the trick. We tend to agree. Anubis has been a thorn in this city’s side for a lot of years. We seriously doubt that Nigel is going to do the trick all on his lonesome. We wonder how Crazy Train Tara is going to feel when she hears that her good friend Nigel is trying to kill the love of her life???

Really. That Dean guy is more than a little ridiculous. He made quite a show of himself playing air guitar in the middle of the Inn. There were actually women who were eating that crap up too! His girlfriend Quinn continues to hang onto his every word… which we still find utterly insane. Now she’s a bit on the grungy side but there’s a bit of pretty in there somewhere. She could do better. Spade was also digging the performance which isn’t all that shocking. Spade always is into guys that are already taken. Her goal in life seems to be to see how many taken men she can bag. All the more gossip for us!

Could we finally be seeing a crack in the foundation? We admit that Serena and Prof. Jolyon have lasted far longer than we had expected but there definitely seems to be some unrest in that relationship. Serena has been seen looking quite sickly the last month or so which has raised concern with quite a few of her friends including Prof. Jolyon. In fact, we hear that he was trying to convince her to return to his homeland where it seems he thinks her health will be better. She didn’t seem to be having any of it. Iiiiinteresting!

…What?!?!? Our sources CLAIM that they heard a Very Very Very Interesting conversation Monday night between Awful Ali and Lil’ Bit Lirssa in the Outback! It seems it was quite the father-daughter chat and L.B. Lirssa has been overheard calling Awful Ali “papa” several times recently! Considering all the women that Awful Ali is responsible for, this actually really isn’t all that much of a shock to us. In fact, despite his personality flaws, he has proven himself to be quite the fatherly figure. We think he’d make a good dad…. and maybe children of his own might not be too far behind. We hear that L.B. Lirssa made a comment about what Awful Ali’s baby would call him. Could The Many Faces of Fio be pregnant??? We. Must. Know.

Casey Shivblade evidently made an appearance in a dueling venue for the first time in F.O.R.E.V.E.R. and a day! She seemed just the same as always. She spent some time catching up with her old friends, MAN-tastic Matt and FLAWLESS Koy. It seems that she is still married to the famous dueler with the same last name. Later into the night Smokin’ Sartan asked her if there was a chance her hubby might come back out of retirement. We were hoping that perhaps her come back might inspire him to return from retirement as well but Casey didn’t seem to think that was a possibility. Bummer! Well, it’s good to see the cute little ball of cheer back at least!

While He Was Down Sunday!

Oh, Lord! What would we do without Brale Brother Reap to entertain us??? He certainly seems to be attracting quite a little following as of late. We have no idea what the name of the girl who was hitting on him Sunday night was but this one certainly seemed to be feeling B.B. Reap! We hear that at one point they were talking about bull riding and she said that she could last longer on a bull than he could. B.B. Reap’s response? “You think so? Pretty good at wrapping your legs around things without getting bucked off, eh?” OMG! We. Die. We hear that Nigel joined in on the mocking too. But as is usual with the easy chicks of this town even after the girl realized they were making fun of her, she was still into B.B. Reap.

Seriously, women of RhyDin? Seriously?

On a more serious note, our sources report back to us that Awful Ali collapsed in the Inn right in front of poor Lil’ Bit Lirssa! As if that poor girl’s life needed to get more traumatic! A group of people including Nigel, Mac, and some guy named Logan quickly rushed to Ali’s side. The Logan guy actually KICKED ALI IN THE CHEST WHILE HE WAS DOWN! No lie! Now there’s quite a few people in this city who’d like to give Awful Ali a good beating but… kicking him while he’s down??? That’s just WRONG! After only a couple moments, he started coming around much to Lil’ Bit Lirssa’s relief. We hear that The Many Faces of Fio showed up not too long after and Mac told her that Ali’s heart had stopped beating for a while. Crazy. We sure hope he’s okay!

We had heard of the rumors of Zev and Lilli but our sources had yet to catch them together. They didn’t seem to be hiding their relationship at all Sunday night as they sat hand-in-hand by the hearth quite cozy together. We hear that the notoriously private and quiet man was even overheard calling her “my dear” and had his hand alllll over her. Our bet is that the pair is already sleeping together. We’re not so sure about this. We thought that for sure Lilli had her eyes on a certain tender. We’re not tagging Zev and Lilli with a “happily ever after” stamp yet but there’s no denying that there’s a whole lot of chemistry going on there!

Down in the Annex a crowd gathered for Fight Night! Scotty was seen working up the courage to hop into a ring for the first time with his friend, Lil’ Black Book Jaycy, who was showing him the ropes. Scotty was overheard saying that his man, Harold, wasn’t too terribly thrilled about him dueling. Swords is safe enough thank to the ward (unless you’re the sort that the ward doesn’t work on) but Fists…. wow. Another story entirely. Harold did wander in as well to watch his hubby-to-be in a ring. He was seen on the sidelines with a cup of tea in hand, looking uncomfortable with seeing Scotty in a ring at first but gradually he seemed to grow more and more interested in what was going on. We think that Scotty might be hooked!

Evidently we were accused by Anya of spreading some rumor about Merchant Antonio that Crazy Train Tara had overheard. Even Collie defended us by saying it was not the sort of thing that we would say. Considering all the gossip we gather/spread is published, we’re unsure how we can be accused of spreading secret rumors but… whatever. We’re so done hearing of how Anya is using our blog to turn herself into some sort of victim that she won’t be in our blog anymore. Sometimes what is right is more important than increasing readership and, thus, revenue. In this situation, what is right is not feeding that ego.

FLAWLESS Koy and Maria had another face off and we’re STILL not entirely sure what it was about. All we know is that it was about some argument with her husband, MAN-tastic Matt, over a video. The tension was still high but not nearly as high as when the two had almost come to blows several nights before in the Outback. Two Crew members and friends of both women — Overlord Tical and Kheldar — stepped in to ease the tension. Again, it seemed to, unfortunately, do the trick because the tension eased and the women returned to watching the challenge at hand.

Oh, right! There was a challenge! The little fierce muffin, Aya, challenged that Death Lord guy for the right to the barony of New Haven! Unfortunately, Aya who is a very experienced warlord and former baron just didn’t have the goods on that particular night to take down the less experienced baron. We still think it’s ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS that ritzy New Haven is represented in the Arena by the walking undead. We’re just shocked that there hasn’t been a bigger movement among the people that live there to get him thrown out on his ear. Come on, people of New Haven! Do we have to spell it out for you? Put together a monetary prize for the warlord that can bring down the baron! Make it worth their while!

Day After The Incident Wednesday

Well, well, well. Maybe we were wrong about a reunion between Playboy Shane and Darcy! It seems she’s already got a man in mind! She was seen Wednesday night in the Red Dragon Inn asking a mystery man to accompany her to the mockery of a wedding this weekend. We hear that she even called him “love”! That girl certainly knows how to move quickly! He teased her about being her date but certainly agreed to it. In fact, they were even seen leaving together. My goodness. We really hope she learned her lesson and takes things slowly but we doubt it.

Our hearts actually ache for Brale Brother Reap and it wasn’t helped at all by hearing that Eleanor was overheard telling Nigel that she’s got to have a talk with B.B. Reap. You just have to know how that talk is going to go. What a freaking shame! Later she was overheard telling B.B. Reap that he had to meet her that night. Such a bummer! Is Mish really worth hurting B.B. Reap??? We love Eleanor but playing with guys’ emotions is NOT COOL! B.B. Reap needs a good girl badly.

Pslyder and Tical faced off in the Outback for the right to hold Firestar — one of the more infamous Opals. In fact, from our knowledge of the history of the Fists’ duels, that particular opal has been involved in the fiery destruction of the Outback more than once. From our knowledge there isn’t any bad blood between Psly and Tical. In fact, we’re pretty sure that they’re downright friendly. No real reason was given for the challenge so we can only guess that Psly has interest in the Opal rather than his opponent.

A crowd was on hand to watch the match go down. We hear that Lil’ Black Book Jaycy kept off to the side, watching in the background. No idea why. She is sleeping with Psly and that isn’t exactly news so we’re not sure why she was careful not to be spotted visibly cheering for him. Tical, however, did have quite the cheering section which included a couple members of the Wrecking Crew — Kheldar, Maria, and Myria. Hold onto that piece of news because it’ll become important later. However, back to the gossip at hand, maybe the cheering section did Tical good because he took the win in two straight matches.

Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan was around after her previous night’s… uh, demonstration in the art of loony. Smokin’ Sartan seemed a bit concerned that she would already be back in public less than twenty-four hours after The Incident. Thankfully, she wasn’t left unescorted for very long. We hear that once Skid realized that she wasn’t at his house as she was supposed to be he came looking for her. He evidently stayed at her side to make sure that whatever happened the night before did not happen again.

Now remember how we told you a big sampling of the Crew was present? Well, Maria and FLAWLESS Koy reeeaaally got into it laaaate into the night. The women seemed to quite nearly come to blows. Our sources say it was never obvious what they were arguing about besides that video that evidently Maria’s lawyer requested from The Gov MAN-tastic Matt. The blow-up got bigger and bigger while Myria watched on in shock and Kheld tried to talk the ladies down. Koy even grabbed Maria’s wrist but before the fists could start flying, Kheld seemed to convince Maria to leave. Wow! Good money would be on Koy if it was unarmed fight and Maria if it was armed. As for an all-out bar brawl? Now that’s what we would have loved to see!

To The Court Wednesday!

Lil’ Bit Lirssa spent some time tending the bar at the Red Dragon Inn Wednesday night. She certainly seems to be doing that a lot lately, doesn’t she??? The Many Faces of Fio asked her about her plans for her tips and she mentioned that she was going to use them towards her debt with Awful Ali. Really? L.B. Lirssa is paying Awful Ali for a debt that T.M.F.O. Fio doesn’t know about??? We’re telling you. It sure seems like there’s trouble in paradise! Those two don’t seem to be on the same page AT ALL anymore! We can’t have the first couple we’ve ever married go breaking up! It can’t happen!

The Dread Kidd Pirate Stephen was in the Inn telling (not asking) Crazy Train Tara that she was paying for his guide to the “seelie court” which we understand is a collection of faeries. C.T. Tara had quite a few questions about why he wanted her money to get a guide to this court but T.D.K.P. Stephen would not give her any answers. C.T. Tara wouldn’t give him the money without getting to go along which was a demand that Stephen eventually gave into.  He also spoke with Brale Brother Reap who advised him that he could get Stephen in touch with Spade who might be able to guide him to the seelie court. We have to wonder if this has something to do with Jewell. The timing certainly is suspicious! Maybe he is pretty torn up about her loss after all.

Cowboy Jake and the Marvelous Mira spent a bit of time together, having drinks and chatting. We’re still surprised that he’s being so patient and hasn’t asked her to marry him. That proposal can’t be too far away, right? They were making plans for New Years and he’s definitely smitten with her. We’re not sure if she’s just keeping her feelings close to the vest or if her last relationship has left her a bit burned but we’re still not totally sure if she’s as into him as he’s into her. We have no idea why! He’s absolutely PERFECT for her!

While Harris is awfully good at picking out the new HAWT talent in the Inn, his friends Smokin’ Sartan and Speedster Nova have the market cornered in the dueling venues, particularly the Outback. They jump on new girls faster than you can snap your fingers! Smokin’ Sartan spent a good portion of Wednesday night trying to hook up Speedster Nova with a tall blonde named Penelope. We’re just not so sure how into him the chick was. She’s definitely a hottie, though. Perhaps a wee biiiit out of Speedster Nova’s league.

The first of the round of Opal challenges went down Wednesday night in the Outback as FLAWLESS Koy, the holder of the black opal, faced off against G’naughty G’nort. This was another challenge in which there didn’t seem to be any bad blood but FLAWLESS Koy did seem to question whether or not G’naughty G’nort understood what he was getting himself into with the black opal. The pair faced off in some of the Outback’s infamous rings as Lil’ Black Book Jaycy officiated. G’naughty G’nort took the first match but FLAWLESS Koy took the next two and, therefore, defended her title.

Overlord Tical was awfully busy! He was seen in conferences with two baronesses — a renegade and his newest loyal. He had a short conversation with Lil’ Black Book Jaycy but our sources could not determine what it was about. L.B.B. Jaycy has always been vocal that her loyalty only goes to her closest friends but seems to support Tical’s reign despite her alignment. Our sources tell us that Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan’s conversation with him had more to do with the events of the previous night. It seems that they discussed her loyalty and S.P.G. Teagan seemed confident in her decision.

Our Darling Taneth was acting odd again Wednesday night. We hear that she was back in the Outback trying to get the titleholders to let her give them assistance. Overlord Tical quickly pushed her off on Baroness Teagan who wasn’t able to get rid of O.D. Taneth so quickly. There is something really unsettling about this behavior. It’s definitely making the titleholders uncomfortable. It’s also a bit dangerous. Not all the titleholders are good people. Very very sad.
