Anyway, welcome home, Issy!

Crazy Train Tara was busy trying to get Horam in bed with her. Horam didn’t seem all that intrigued by the idea. In fact, the pair seem to have some history because Horam seemed to downright dislike Tara. He wasn’t the only one displeased with Tara. It seems that some girl named Vex wasn’t too happy either because Tara had left her cattle prod lying about and someone had decided to use it on Vex. As usual, Tara was clueless to other people’s emotions.

We hear that Tara’s friend, Alice, went a little crazy later into the evening. She was seen batting at something invisible in front of her face and knocked over quite a few bottles of liquor! We bet Panther finds a way of making sure those get on her tab! Evidently she was seen bleeding and screaming by the time her whole little fit was over… And then she just walked out. We always knew there was something a little strange about that girl.

Well, Jade is alive and she’s back and she’s human. But other than that she’s the same old TRASH-tastic Jade. Our sources did say that she was overheard saying that she doesn’t drink much (HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA) and then proceeded to drink enough to kill a small horse. Evidently she’s been staying out of the Inn as of late because she’s been busy spending time with her husband and daughter. She was seen catching up with a bunch of her friends, including Icer and Duci, who seemed absolutely thrilled to see her. As usual, Jade was up to trouble. Our sources say that she was trying to get some guy named Chris to kiss Duci. It seems that Chris did appear interested in Duci but, you know, wanted to actually get to know her. We sure hope Jade didn’t ruin Duci’s chances with this guy because she seemed to be digging him as much as he was digging her.

Anyway, at some point in the night Jade broke into tears and started accusing people of poisoning her. It seems that the human version of Jade is a really annoying drunk. Thankfully, her BFF Rhy had taken a night off from Mommy duties… or at least was doing some mommying of a different sort. She showed up to calm Jade down and escort her back home.

Zev and Lilli were seen having a quiet night together. The pair had some drinks by the hearth and their conversation was quiet and intimate. Definitely seems like the pair of them are still going strong! They’ve been together now for a good couple of months. Things certainly seem like they’re getting serious! We’d never have thought that the pair would make a good match but definitely seems like we were wrong!

Daniel was seen chatting with Mindy about the party the night before. Mindy made mention of how good he and Riley look as a couple. We hear that Daniel was awfully pleased with the compliment. It seems that he’s falling pretty hard for her. Eh. We’re not totally thrilled with Riley. We think Daniel can do better but… whatever. Evidently Mindy met a man at the party that she is interested in but Daniel does NOT seem to like him one bit. We don’t have any details but we’re certainly going to look into it! Riley showed up a little later on and (prepare yourself for this one, guys) she and Mindy we talking about having a girls’ only sleepover. How many guys would love to try to sneak into that???

Down in the Outback, the news that dominated the night was some serious issues between Sartan and several women. In the middle of Sartan telling Harris how odd he found this whole rushed marriage thing between Sarah (who he mentioned he has still not met) and his friend Rix, Joey evidently took offense to him making fun of her newly minted girlfriend, Teagan. It led to Teagan and Sartan exchanging words and eventually afer being egged on for some time by Joey, Teagan threw a punch. It hardly just remained between the two of them. When Teagan made an insulting remark about Sartan’s wife, Collie jumped in to tell her to knock it off. Our sources tell us after putting the whole thing into motion, Joey did eventually lead Teagan away from the confrontation.

Sartan’s night got no better from there, though. Wyh confronted him about some of the rude things that he said to Teagan which led to Sartan accusing Wyh of trying to STEAL Icedancer. If you remember correctly, Wyh called the match in which Sartan won Icedancer and after holding Icedancer during the match was none to pleased about having to turn it over to Sartan at the end. Sartan was overheard saying that she didn’t really care about Teagan and was just using it as an excuse to make a play at Icedancer. Wyh actually ATTACKED Sartan with ice but Icedancer blocked the attack.

At that point, MAN-tastic Matt very wisely threw them out of the Outback. He’s had his building destroyed by fire more than once. Nobody wants to see what an ice show down would do to it! A crazy night! That’s for sure!

Riley, Daniel, and Mindy were overheard discussing a hanami party planned for the opening of the Zen Gardens Building this coming Sunday. We hear that the building boasts a pretty lovely garden on the roof and that’s where the party will be held. We think it’ll be one of the spots to be seen Sunday night. It’s the first party of the season and you know how the citizens of this city start to go a little crazy this time of year! We’re definitely going to try to sneak in a spy or two to check out the event.

While the Inn was a little light on action, the Annex was PACKED for Fight Night!

Finally! We have someone who will speak up and tell Rowdy Rekah that she shouldn’t be with Cassius! Unfortunately for us, it seems that the person is Harris. We really might need to rethink our stance on it if the only one agreeing with us is Harris. We just can’t help it! Everything in us SCREAMS how wrong it is! He was overheard telling Rekah that Cassius was a bad influence but when she asked why, he got distracted. Ugh! Will nobody step up and end this thing???

Speaking of Harris, he’s been busy putting things into motion for his upcoming challenge against Anubis. We hear the thing is going down on Wednesday and, to be perfectly honest, if you’re not there, you’ll totally miss out. This is going to be one of those epic sort of throw downs that people will be talking about for cycles to come. We hear that Harris was convincing Taneth to wear a cheerleader outfit to the match so if nothing else that alone is worth the price of admission! We wonder how Deathlord feels about Harris yanking his “lady”. Deathlord’s not the sort that we’d want to piss off.

Collie was spotted by our sources feeding information on Rix’s newest bride-to-be to Nova and Sartan. The two guys seemed a bit perplexed by Rix’s sudden engagement but not particularly surprised. They also weren’t even bothering to take bets to see if Rix would actually get married. We have a hard time believing that he’s serious too. The whole thing is just way odd. Even Collie said that Sarah was a pretty girl but didn’t think Rix would actually marry her. What do we know about this girl??? And why would she want to marry Rix???

Uh oh. That was the reaction in the Den of Gossip when our sources reported back to us that Kalamere and Crazy Train Tara were seen with their heads together for quite a while Sunday night. Could C.T. Tara be moving in on the baroness’ territory??? We hear that their conversation was kept low and intimate. Whatever it was about we doubt it was good. If you throw together two troublemakers, you’re not likely to get anything but trouble out of the mix!

Wow, wow, wow! Doc Eva was seen admiring a rock on Mira’s left ring finger Friday night and Mira confirmed that it is exactly what we were all hoping for! It seems that Cowboy Jake has indeed asked Marvelous Mira to be his wife. How fantastic is that??? We hear that the usual understated and private Mira totally lit up at the mention of the ring and the proposal. She is going to be an absolutely stunning bride! No news on how he proposed or if a date has been set but as soon as we hear, we’ll be sure to pass it on to you all!

In more surprising engagement news, our sources are telling us that Sarah was overheard telling Misty in the Annex Friday night that she and Rix are ENGAGED!?!?! WHAT??? Has anybody ever even spotted them together. Now, sure, Rix does have a reputation of jumping from girl-to-girl like nobody’s business but… engaged??? Did anybody know that Rix is even in town??? We hear that she seemed over the moon excited and was sporting quite the rock. We wonder if Nova and Sartan even know. This is so odd. We’re not entirely sure if she’s some crazy stalker chick who has made this whole thing up in her head or if Rix is really getting that desperate to get girls into bed that he’s now asking them to marry him.

We hear that Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan and Maria were overheard discussing how Rowdy Rekah (who was busy beating her Madness opponent, Lil’ Black Book Jaycy… which we’ll go into in more detail in our upcoming article for the Dueling News) has sex with Cassius. The girls’ discussion was a little raunchy even for us so we’re not going to detail it. What was informative from the conversation, however, was that Teagan claims that she’s the one who set this pair up. Booooo, Teagan, boooo! What were you thinking??? There’s just something so inherently wrong about cute, innocent Rekah dating Cas!

The recently reinstated warlord, Sylus, and the Mockery of New Haven (and by “Mockery” we mean Baron and, of course, we mean it in the best sense of the word so keep your minions away from the Den of Gossip), Deathlord, gathered in the Annex to lay it all on the line for the right to be the holder of the barony ring representing New Haven. Deathlord’s minions were out in full force again! Like the two previous challengers, things didn’t go so well for Sylus. Deathlord defended the New Haven barony in two straight duels.

Congratulations, Deathlord… we guess.

Kalinda was seen spending time with an admirer at the bar. Not sure what his name was but this one was different than the rest. Most just seem interested in oogling Kalinda but this man was actually talking to her. The pair of them chatted and drank together for quite some time. We’re interested to see if the chemistry there develops into something. We have our sources working over time to try and figure out what this man’s name is.

Collie has been seen dropping by the  Inn quite a lot in the last week or so. She was again seen chatting with friends. We hear that there was a particular redhead who she spent some time with. Our sources say that the young woman’s name is Kate and while she was a frequent visitor to the Inn in years past, she hasn’t been seen in some time. This Kate was overheard telling Collie that she is still married but it sounds as if she’s not entirely sure where her husband is. Women in this town can never keep track of their husbands! The pair talked about Collie’s love life for quite a while. We sure hope that this Kate was able to talk some sense into Collie!

Despite all the rumors of John dating other women, it appears as if Harper is sticking by his side. The pair of them were seen looking awfully lovey dovey in the Inn Monday night. She spent some time on his lap and they even left together. That man must have some kind of charm to play around with such pretty women and still come out with at least one of them in the end. We think that Harper should be careful, though. Once a cheater, always a cheater, sister!

The Outback was a little quiet for a Monday night and we have to wonder if everybody is recuperating from some serious Madness excitement. Dris was seen for the first time in quite a while calling duels with Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan on his lap. Our sources say that Dris admitted that things have come up and that’s why he hasn’t been around but didn’t go into a whole lot of details. It doesn’t sound like he was off on some fabulous vacation like we were, though. Dris did seem a little worried about some problem that Sartan seemed to be trying to help him out with. We’re not really sure why anyone would go to Sartan for advice but we do hope that he was able to help out a bit.

Somehow the conversation between Sartan and Dris ended with Sartan and Lil’ Black Book Jaycy exchanging a round of nasty barbs! L.B.B. Jaycy admitted that she hooked up with Sartan (before or after he got married???) and then a week later was with Rix!!! CLASSY! If she was with Nova then she could claim the whole goon squad! Anyway, Jaycy seemed to shut Sartan up by laying quite the kiss on Dris, leaving us to wonder if there is a soul on the standings that hasn’t slept with Jaycy.

Mack and Danny were seen in the Outback later into the night… but let’s just say that there was several hours gap between when they left the Inn and when they showed up in the Outback. Our sources claim that Mack may have looked a weeeee bit guilty! The pair were seen working off some of that sexual tension in a ring. After putting his hands in places that he probably shouldn’t have, the pair were seen leaving. Kazzy was seen zipping around on skates with a cape on for at least part of this show. We wonder how it’s going to go over with her that Danny’s completely forgotten her friend and seems to have moved on!

Lil’ Black Book Jaycy showed up to call Saturday night and, man, was she cranky! She was barely stringing more than two or three words together at a time. It doesn’t seem as if her poor mood had anything to do with her hunk du jour as Pslyder was in the room dueling and she wasn’t too snappy towards him. In fact, she was overheard praising his moves in a ring and calling him “love”. Yuck. Gag us.

Krazy Kitty showed up in the Arena for the first time in fooooorever. She was seen chatting with Harris but made a point to chat with a couple other friends as well. We have to wonder if showing her face in public had to do something with the rumors that the schedule for the next governor’s election is currently being put together by the independent accounting firm that has been hired to ensure a fair vote! Kitty, the former governor, has made mentions over the past year of possibly running again. It’s going to take a big name to take down Matt. He’s practically made the governor’s office his permanent residence after TWO terms behind the desk!

For what seems like the millionth and one time, Smokin’ Sartan was seen trying to hook up Speedster Nova with Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan. We would wonder why he wouldn’t give up on a lost cause if it wasn’t for the fact that we’re 99.99% sure, he continues to do it merely to annoy Nova. Teagan still seems interested but it’ll be a cold day in hell when Teagan turns down a piece of man/woman meat. Teagan went off to duel and flirt with a more willing companion in Kalamere (who will do a baroness before the month is out) while Sartan and Nova went about debating who the better human shield is. And THAT, my loyal readers, is why Nova gets no action.

Evidently Dave and Harris had a not so pleasant interaction. Harris wasn’t looking too pleased when Dave finally walked away. It certainly takes a lot to even mildly irritate Harris so Dave must have some talent. Although, we have a feeling that Harris would be offended for us to say that he was irritated and would deny the charge. We think he’s just desperate to remain the most obnoxious dueler in the Arena. Well, don’t worry, Harris. You’re in a league all your own there!

We have a feeling that Eleanor is NOT going to like this! Brale Brother Reap was overheard by our sources telling Charna not to tell Eleanor how he got shot! Evidently Nigel has told Eleanor that B.B. Reap accidentally shot himself and B.B. Reap wanted to make sure that Charna would not tell Eleanor otherwise. Charna seemed to question whether or not Eleanor would buy the story and we have to agree with her. How long do they really think they can keep it a secret? Everybody in the city seems to be talking about the Melee in the Inn!

Speaking of people who probably don’t appreciate being talked about behind their backs, we hear that The Many Faces of Fio and Professor Jolyon were seen in a pretty intense looking conversation about Lil’ Bit Lirssa. We have no idea what it was about but we hear that neither looked too pleased or friendly with one another when it ended. In fact, we hear that T.M.F.O. Fio was actually seen storming out shortly after. What have we told you guys about pissing off pregnant ladies? It never ends well.

Oh no! Somebody STOP Playboy Shane from handing out relationship advice. Not only is it a bit odd to hear that he is spewing advice but to hear that he is giving it to his ex-girlfriend??? Crazy! But that’s exactly what our sources reported back to us. We hear that Darcy and Playboy Shane were seen chatting at the bar in the Inn and she acknowledged that sitting scantily clad on men’s laps while drinking heavily makes people think that she’s an easy slut! We’re shocked that she’s just coming to this realization. Of course Playboy Shane’s girlfriend, Scully, came waltzing in wearing a skirt and sandals… in the middle of winter… and immediately started kissing on him even though he was in the middle of talking to Darcy. OMG! Can you scream desperate tramp any louder than that??? Now we know it is Playboy Shane and he has a tendency of switching girlfriends more often than he switches his socks but have a little bit of pride! Don’t throw yourself at your man just because he’s talking to another woman!

The one thing you can always count on in the Outback is opal drama. Those things certainly seem to cause more drama than they’re worth. Smokin’ Sartan and Ms. Wyh Not were seen chatting about Icedancer at length. If you remember correctly Ms. Wyh Not called the match in which Smokin’ Sartan won Icedancer. However what hasn’t been mentioned much in reports of the event is that Ms. Wyh Not was VERY reluctant to hand over the opal. In fact, we hear that she seemed quite attached to it. Our sources tell us that Sartan was overheard telling her Tuesday night that he didn’t appreciate it when she called the opal “her’s” the night of the challenge. Ms. Wyh Not was very apologetic but had no explanation for the odd behavior. Strange!

Harris bet Lil’ Bit Lirssa a silver that Harper would beat Kendall in a game of darts. We really didn’t think L.B. Lirssa to be the gambling sort but Harris is annoying enough to make anyone turn against their nature in order to shut him up! Kendall won the game of darts and L.B. Lirssa was excited to collect her coins. Perhaps Harper’s game was thrown off a bit because we hear she was admiring John’s new haircut. Well, after the game, Harris decided he needed to shake down Harper to recover the money he lost in his bet. The pair went blow for blow until L.B. Lirssa provided Harris with an ale… which, of course, distracted him from his shake down.

The night of fights didn’t stop there. Manly Mason and Doc Eva really ripped into Serena! Our sources couldn’t exactly tell what the argument was about but during the course of it both Manly Mason and Doc Eva stomped off once. Lil’ Bit Lirssa seemed to play peacemaker which again proves that she’s the most mature person in the Inn on any given night while Playboy Shane seemed to be sticking close to Serena’s side to offer emotional support. Crazy. We have no idea what this was about but you better believe we’re going to keep our ear to the ground!

Juliane was behind the bar and it seems that will be a regular occurrence. We do love Smith tenders! We hear that she caught Playboy Shane’s eye. Although, honestly, it’s not all that hard to catch Playboy Shane’s eye. Anyway, he was overheard asking Darcy about her later in the evening. We hear that Lil’ Bit Lirssa piped in to let Playboy Shane know that Juliane was Johnny’s sister and that if Shane got “all patty fingers with her” that Johnny would clobber Playboy Shane! HILARIOUS! We hear that Marvelous Mira was cracking up.

There were some Fight Night duels happening in the Annex but for the most part attention was focused on the Fists Tag Team Tournament that was taking place for the Tour. Although they only lasted one match, Jake and Napoleon certainly took the reward for best trash talkers! Who would have thought a rat and an orc would be so good at talking smack to their opponents??? They were so good, however, that we’re surprised that Smokin’ Sartan and the Gov MAN-tastic Matt were able to keep it together and beat them!

In the end nobody could match Sartan and MAN-tastic Matt’s skill and the pair took the tag team tournament. Congratulations to both of them!

Connar and Chief Mischief Maker Eless looked quite cozy and absolutely adorable! We’re so glad that Connar finally got his girl after all these years. He’s been into C.M.M. Eless since we started reporting in RhyDin! This is truly the sort of love match that just makes us feel all warm and gooey inside. They’ve been spotted quite a lot recently, hanging out in the Inn and drinking together laaaate into the night and we hear that he walks her home quite often. However, when their friends ask about the possibility of marriage, C.M.M. Eless still says that it maybe centuries before they wed. What a bummer! They really have to wed in our lifetime. We would be just sick if we missed such an occasion!

The Tour de RhyDin regular fists stage had the Outback absolutely packed with contestants and spectators. Yet, one person stuck out like a sore thumb. Lil’ Black Book Jaycy. Our sources were more than anxious to report back to us that she was seen hugging on and cuddling with a Pslyder action figure doll. We wonder if it was anatomically correct. You know, complete with a teeny tiny, itty bitty — what??? Anyway, we continue to be shocked and dismayed by L.B.B. Jaycy’s behavior. We sure hope he’s drugging her or something because there’s NO WAY our Jaycy would stick with one man so long without causing trouble. This is crap!

Speaking of crap, it seems that Joey and Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan are sort of serious about… well, at least about calling the other their “girlfriend”. Again, who knows exactly what that word means in their worlds??? Joey was overheard introducing S.P.G. Teagan to Duci as her girlfriend. We hear that S.P.G. Teagan seems quite interested in Joey’s new friend. Yeah, we bet she was. All it takes to keep S.P.G. Teagan’s attention is a vagina. Seriously, those two girls need to find significant others who are grounded and… well, have at least a little bit of moral backbone. We don’t think they’re all that bad. Just seriously misguided.

Much to the dismay of Sartan’s best friend, Nova, and his wife, Rory, he did go through with his challenge against Dizzy for the right to hold Icedancer! It seemed that no amount of warnings about the trouble those opals could cause from Speedster Nova could deter Smokin’ Sartan. We are curious about Smokin’ Sartan’s choice for opals to go after since he picked the very same Opal that Nova has so much history with. In fact, Speedster Nova was the first holder of Icedancer and it allegedly drove his ex-wife bonkers. Some here at the Den of Gossip would contend that Speedster Nova drove his ex-wife bonkers… but the important part is that Speedster Nova contends that it was the opal. We have to wonder if Speedster Nova’s a little pissed. It’s one thing to ignore his warnings but to thumb his nose at the warnings by going after the same opal that Nova has so much history with??? That just seems a little wrong.

Smokin’ Sartan was able to best Dizzy and earned the right to hold Icedancer. We sure hope for his sake that Speedster Nova was being overly cautious. Congratulations, Smokin’ Sartan!

We hear that the Outback was really hopping Tuesday night as some of dueling’s finest came out to get some duels for the Tour in! Napoleon was wearing the yellow jersey to signify his position in the Tour currently when he showed up to bash some heads in under the CrushBob banner. Yeah, we have no idea what that team name means and our sources actually heard teammates Smokin’ Sartan and Speedster Nova expressing confusion over it as well. It’s just further proof that the Gov MAN-tastic Matt has taken one too many blows to the head over the years.

Odd. One of the Taneths told Crazy Train Tara that she didn’t like her. So totally not like Taneth! Tormay is STILL not back so we can only assume that he’s still trying to find the answers to Taneth’s problem. We do miss Our Darling Taneth so! C.T. Tara was not at all offended by Taneth’s remark. In fact, we hear that she responded that most people don’t like her. On the subject of C.T. Tara, we hear that she was utterly petrified of Kheldar for some reason. Odd, isn’t it? Of course, Kheldar is a pretty big guy but when is C.T. Tara afraid of anybody? Particularly the person who is seen as one of the kindest, gentlest duelists out there? That girl is completely bonkers!

Really. That Dean guy is more than a little ridiculous. He made quite a show of himself playing air guitar in the middle of the Inn. There were actually women who were eating that crap up too! His girlfriend Quinn continues to hang onto his every word… which we still find utterly insane. Now she’s a bit on the grungy side but there’s a bit of pretty in there somewhere. She could do better. Spade was also digging the performance which isn’t all that shocking. Spade always is into guys that are already taken. Her goal in life seems to be to see how many taken men she can bag. All the more gossip for us!

Could we finally be seeing a crack in the foundation? We admit that Serena and Prof. Jolyon have lasted far longer than we had expected but there definitely seems to be some unrest in that relationship. Serena has been seen looking quite sickly the last month or so which has raised concern with quite a few of her friends including Prof. Jolyon. In fact, we hear that he was trying to convince her to return to his homeland where it seems he thinks her health will be better. She didn’t seem to be having any of it. Iiiiinteresting!

…What?!?!? Our sources CLAIM that they heard a Very Very Very Interesting conversation Monday night between Awful Ali and Lil’ Bit Lirssa in the Outback! It seems it was quite the father-daughter chat and L.B. Lirssa has been overheard calling Awful Ali “papa” several times recently! Considering all the women that Awful Ali is responsible for, this actually really isn’t all that much of a shock to us. In fact, despite his personality flaws, he has proven himself to be quite the fatherly figure. We think he’d make a good dad…. and maybe children of his own might not be too far behind. We hear that L.B. Lirssa made a comment about what Awful Ali’s baby would call him. Could The Many Faces of Fio be pregnant??? We. Must. Know.

Casey Shivblade evidently made an appearance in a dueling venue for the first time in F.O.R.E.V.E.R. and a day! She seemed just the same as always. She spent some time catching up with her old friends, MAN-tastic Matt and FLAWLESS Koy. It seems that she is still married to the famous dueler with the same last name. Later into the night Smokin’ Sartan asked her if there was a chance her hubby might come back out of retirement. We were hoping that perhaps her come back might inspire him to return from retirement as well but Casey didn’t seem to think that was a possibility. Bummer! Well, it’s good to see the cute little ball of cheer back at least!
